Manitoba cabinet minister accuses Opposition NDP leader of swearing and shoving

Manitoba cabinet minister Obby Khan accused Opposition NDP Leader Wab Kinew of swearing at him and shoving him at a public event inside the legislature Thursday, saying it left him shaken.

Kinew denied the accusation, saying there was only a "tense verbal exchange." Speaker Myrna Driedger is looking into the matter.

  1. After departing from a point of interest yesterday I was shocked to hear about the news on a mobile radio. I think that serious action needs to be taken to address violence in the workplace.

  2. There are other instances of the NDP leader using physical intimidation tactics on camera. Seems to be a pattern.
