So Paul, what is it that you would not give up? Admission of guilt?
Well, to be fair and accurate to what is written in the story – although I am certainly no Trump fan and I think he and his entire entourage are a national tragedy – what he (Manafort) said is that he was not going to give prosecutors a bunch of made up stuff on Trump or anyone else in Trump’s circle, just to get a sweet deal for himself. I doubt he would have had to make stuff up, but I am also aware that prosecutors do sometimes try to get alleged partners in crime to fabricate evidence against a primary target of the prosecution. I doubt that is what was happening, but it is what Manafort was referring to, according to this news article.
