    1. No.. when the cop awkwardly said “Call that number _dude_ I’ll come out and meet you..”

That’s something an enemy would say. Way he paused besides use of word dude he was lying his butt off knowing it was being recorded and was a staged prop.

  1. BEING HUMAN to another human is the least we can do.
    TRY IT OUT !!!!
    replace that hate with care

  2. This, just raw human emotion being exposed, and these police officers understanding completely. Wish they all were like this.

    1. At the end of the day officers chose LE bc they are compassionate ppl who desire helping the world 2b a better place…please appreciate LE while they place their lives on the line every second in the line of duty.

    2. @Carter well, from the body cam footage I’ve been watching for a couple days now, seeing the disgusting treatment of unnecessary force being used leading to unnecessary death, because of the obvious lack of training, self restraint, and eagerness to pull the trigger, not all of them have what it takes to be an outstanding and compassionate officer of the law.

    3. If they were all like this, then their own fraternity would have to eliminate them. Even if their own brother in police fraternity kills a guy accidentally in an elevator from beating skull in, even the “good” ones HAVE to stand up for them.

If they don’t; they’re narcs (in the corrupt fraternity) and will probably be asked/forced to move to a smaller town with less population for less corruption to continue their good work unimpeded by the rest of the worthless ones.

  3. God bless that man in need. May God bless & protect those officers that helped him. 🙏 What a beautiful and memorable interaction.
I pray he gets the help he needs.

    1. Absolutely, so glad that he asked for a simple thing that he needed,”A HUG”, thank you officer for that special moment, I truly believed that he knew then that someone really cares.

  4. Our veterans need and deserve to be treated with respect and kindness! I’m so glad he crossed paths with this incredible police officer!

  5. If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis in the United States, you can call or text 988 or chat online: 988lifeline.org

  6. I wish more mental health crisis calls were handled like this. Huge difference in how the officer approached and began to engage verbally with the “suspect”
He didn’t being screaming commands at him…. Etc… I think we’ve all seen those videos too.. much props to those officers and may many more learn from this.

  7. I’ll bet the officer has a son, nephew etc that came to mind in this moment.

I remember a viral video about a man going around giving “dad hugs” and so many grown men cried in his arms 🥺🥺

  8. There is another hero in this one: the young man who cried and asked for a hug. For men this is difficult. And that is unfortunate.
New rule: Real men cry sometimes!

  9. My heart hurts for our veterans who struggle to be and feel ok. I pray this man can find the peace and healing he needs from his hurt. Im proud of him for asking for a hug and for the officer giving it. What a beautiful moment!!!!
