@Krazy Kozey I’m going to assume you are suggesting that the protests are going to be a way that Trump wins the election. I think we saw enough yesterday and over the last week (but especially yesterday) that should cause even devout Republicans to be alarmed. If Trump gets his Supreme Court pick and if the new Supreme Court is then utilized to get ballots thrown out, Trump may successfully steal the election and steal four more years in power. If this happens, watch all rights to vote, all signs of democracy, etc. to just vanish. Democracy will vanish. Even from my perch minutes from the American border, in Canada, I am extraordinarily scared about what this could mean.
Louisville made a huge mistake. You don’t pay out $12 million to a family that had a loved one killed wrongfully then bring basically no charges against the cops responsible! Too bad I live in ky. I had hope Louisville would make this as right as they can but they did not

I think the whole world knew that was typical USA consumerist attitudes & suing culture tbh. Buy them off and/or give over&above typical compensation payment cz they always knew there would be no prosecution. Who knows 🤷♀️Maybe a group of actual decent ppl in a different part of the local administration, who knew this was going to be so wrong&unjust, made sure to pre-empt the justice system with the civil proceedings bcoz otherwise after lack criminal case the compensation would have been a *LOT* less?
