  1. Make no mistake, Trump is a sociopath.

Trump quote from 2004, a response to a Larry King Live caller asking how he handles stress. Trump: “I try and tell myself it doesn’t matter. Nothing matters. If you tell yourself it doesn’t matter, like you do shows, you do this, you do that and then you have earthquakes in India where 400,000 people get killed. Honestly, it doesn’t matter.”

Spoken like the true sociopath that he is. Trump meets pretty much every diagnostic criterion of a sociopath..

    ● Manipulative and Conning:
They never recognize the rights of others, and see their self-serving behaviors as permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims.

    ● Grandiose Sense of Self:
Feels entitled to certain things as “their right.”

    ● Pathological Lying:
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities.

    ● Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt:
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, he has victims, and accomplices, who will also end up as victims. ( Cohen, Manafort, Stone, Flynn) The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.

    ● Shallow Emotions:
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would usually upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises.

    ● Callousness/Lack of Empathy:
Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others’ feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them.

    ● Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature:
Rage and abuse. Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for their impact on others.

    ● Irresponsibility/Unreliability:
Not concerned about wrecking others’ lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.

    1. Kent Horvath
My point is, Trump loves the uneducated, like yourself. He wouldn’t be the successful con-man that he is without people like you.

    2. David J why’d you edit your post? Did you screw up your spelling? Do you think you’re smart and important? I know I’m not. You would definitely survive in a forest, indefinitely.

    3. @Error_404 Not Found Error_404 Not Found
Well said for an un-found computer virus Error. It seems as though you have a poor, lame, and rather pathetic way of saying nothing in a comment. Well done Don Jr. Well done. Fix the glitch, or listen to Lies, as they become distractions to confuse people from fact, without truth you have no law, without law, no democracy. Resistance is impossible without truth. Game over.

  2. Pay for the wall or pay for preventive measures to keep out the virus ??
decisions decisions , innee meenie mynie more !

    1. @Roxann Watson walls work in prisons but from time to time prisoners do escape . We still use them . What’s the alternative ?

    2. @Carlos Carlos … and the great Wall of China worked, as well as the wall in Germany. So line up the Cannon’s and be sure to man them, soldiers armed inside the wall, and the out posts every 200 yards for all 1,954+ miles.
Why didn’t you say something sooner. This could have been done in the Bush administration.

    3. @Carlos Carlos how do you expect a wall to keep people in, or out without people and weapons? All a wall will accommodate is Trump’s ego. It has been proven to do more harm (to the environment, wildlife) than good to secure anything. Tunnels, walk under over or around, boats, droppednes, planes, trains, trucks, cars, taxi.

    1. @G. Rekv
Man, are you a true believer. If Bernie told you to take an AR-15 and go and shoot a Republican Senator playing softball, you would. Without blinking.

    2. @Kent Horvath I imagine the Trump victory in 2016 will seem like a walk in the park when Trump takes his victory lap in 2020.

  3. Wow, the need for free college for all to produce advance medical doctors and research scientists is more prevalent now more than ever before. You are only as healthy as your next-door neighbor and with that in mind who is going to take homeless people and their pets to the hospital to get cleared. Lots of tourists go to the casino from all around the world, are they checking them at the door and how are they going to account for all the people that go in and out? What type of mask should people use and how come mask is now $900.+

    1. more relevant than ever, not more prevalent.

and lack of free college isn’t the reason we have less doctors.

  4. He follows up a sentence saying we will have to rely on science for solutions by adding a later appeal “god willing”.
Well, relying on a sky fairy won’t actually help.

    1. Richard Christie There are thousands of medical scientists from the private sector’s working on a vaccine knowing it’s potentially worth trillions because of the global effect. A little faith won’t hurt.

    2. Richard,
ROTFLMAO. hopefully it will be more like the IPOTUS said, it will just disappear in warm weather, like California has. So, he gave ith to Mike Pence to pray it away.

  5. Everyone with a working brain predicted that Trump would handle the first real crisis he was confronted with this way. Asking for credit, worrying about the impact on himself, not caring about anybody else.

    1. Yep, it’s a worry. Of course a lot of those beds are already occupied but the real worry is a surge. There just isn’t any health service in the world to accommodate everyone 100% if they all present at once. Never mind if the doctors and Nurses get sick or have dependents etc., who also need care. It won’t come to this. It may be messy but we will get through it. Sane heads will prevail.

    2. @David Kierans – Trump cultist I imagine. We are in real danger and soon will be in a lot of trouble. Correct that beds can be easily added. Nothing wrong with tents in hospital parking lots. They are good enough for our boys and girls in the military and they should be good enough for any civilian.

    3. JSTR The Chinese built two large hospitals in two weeks. Granted they are not robust, but they have equipped them with thousands of beds and medical equipment. This was in Whuhan the city where the virus originated. If the Chinese can do that why can’t we?

  6. The US can’t be too worried as 3 US navy ships have just let crews go for r&r in Pattaya Thailand. So not only will they be dealing with the Coronavirus, they’ll also be dealing with the clap

    1. I certainly hope our veterans are receiving claps and applause for their service. After all, they’re fighting the corona virus so we don’t have to.

    2. Bob Courtier the clap has been workin out since 62, it takes a lot more to knock it down and tourism in Thailand has taken a big hit over the last year and now this virus on top. The girls and boys will be working extra hard to take as much money as they can from any tourist that will hand it over, willingly or not. Desperate times…

  7. Australia implemented exactly what the doctor mentioned 48 hours ago. Stockpiling of essential medicines, stocking of essential virus control materials in hospitals and medical centres. The WHO hasn’t even declared a pandemic yet but the Australian government is being proactive, believing that within a week they will.

    1. Well if we actually read what WHO says and explain, then what Australia is doing makes sense, and is something every country should plan to do or should have been doing already.
The WHO says this “The UK plan suggests containment only if a new pandemic flu hasn’t learned yet to spread as fast as normal flu.
In this light, statements from WHO start to make sense. “It’s not either/or,”

  8. “make sure… everyone knows what the Federal Government is doing…”

Uh… first, the Federal Government needs to know what it’s doing.

    1. They know! It wasn’t an accident that King trupy cut all scientists, all task forces, all stocks of emergency supplies.

  9. The tens of millions without health insurance just don’t dare going to see a doctor or an ER due to the looming threat of not being able to afford that vital test (even if it was widely available) when they might be showing symptoms of a coronavirus infection. And even if the government told them that a test will be free of charge and they should go, many of them probably still would’t go because they know how notoriously their current gonvernment lied to them in the past. Erosion of trust. One more reason for implementing universal health care without co-payments. It saves lives.
    Edit: typo

    1. @Roxann Watson Good point. Don’t go sit in cramped waiting areas, people! Overe here they suggest you give a heads-up to the place you intend to go to, they will be ready to bypass you and not get close to other patiens and have you tested separately. But that’s easy for me to say, living in Germany. All the best to you guys – and to all of us for that matter… Cheers, Daniel

  10. Gee, that’s reassuring to know: There’s *less than a million beds* in US hospitals, with a *population of 330 million.*

  11. Good ideas Doc. Sensible and competent. However the so-called ‘president’ is neither sensible nor competent. Good luck, America.

  12. In my state I was at three different doctors today I asked for a test they told me to come back and we can discuss it😟
