  1. CONGRATULATIONS! I can imagine there will be one freaking hell of a celebration when he arrives. There should be a parade.

    1. Hopefully he doesn’t get too drunk and assault another police officer! Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!

    2. The drunken brawler is an American hero? Or do you again know nothing, except for a snowstorm from CNN?

    1. The Russians should have kept Trevor Reed under the same conditions as the United States kept Konstantin Yaroshenko. Because American prisons are the most terrible and cruel in the world. Russia is too humane, you need to be equal to the United States.

    2. @Marry Poppins I feel bad for Trevor in general, (truth to be told attack on the police officer in the USA will net you 10-15 years too). American federal prisons are bad but not as bad as state or private prisons – that deny you food (calories) until you are sick, weak and can not function.

  2. That is how the American should behave and act!!A real president trying to help and save an ordinary american family, from the anguish and fear for their son,in russian captivity!!

    1. @MrSkipLim His “crime” was being drunk and grabbing a cops arm. The Russian guy, Yaroshenko was a pilot who was smuggling cocaine into the US and other countries.

    2. in what captivity, he got drunk and attacked the police, in the United States he would have been locked up in prison for this.

    3. @TheDrAstrov You are correct. That’s how and why we have a prisoner exchange program. However, the worse treatment of Russian prisoners is the reason why we should be happy to have him back home. He’s lucky to be well enough (or even alive) to come home. This is where we use empathy, in case you weren’t sure.

  3. Just imagine how many others are locked up an unsure of their future? We need more information from Trevor.

    1. Unfortunately this happens every day right here in America. Hundreds of thousands of Americans sit in jail without being convicted for months and some for years. Then they get a court date and if they’re lucky everything is dismissed and they’re set free right on the spot. But what about all that time served all that time lost 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤷🏻‍♂️ most Americans don’t care about that though until one of their friends or relatives ends up in the same situation, who’s there for those people? Who can those people run to to get help and say look I don’t belong here help me🤔🤔🤔🤔🤷🏻‍♂️
Nobody, that’s who they have nobody

    2. @taz santiago I’ve been there sir. Sitting in county with a shady public defender trying to get me 99 to life because I’m a prior convicted felon. Yeah I know the system very well but unfortunately in every situation like this? MONEY BUYS JUSTICE It’s not pure luck Trevor made it out. That’s for sure

  5. It’s a good thing Moscow Don isn’t still in charge. He’d be shipping weapons to his BFF Putin.

  6. Amazing they were able to get him free, despite the ongoing war in Ukraine and all this tension between Russia and the U.S.!

    1. @Kumploy💛💙 he was allegedly drinking and got out of his car and attacked a police officer on the way to the police station

  7. What a wonderful new, you guys make me cry. So happy for the parents and the son. I wish them good health and forever happiness.
