    1. The winds of change is a phrase that sounds nice with the promise of something nice happening. Just a platitude to keep the sheeple in line and pulling the lever for the democrats. Take the red pill!

    1. @Erik L they’re hate filled by your standards, but what are the rioters mongering exactly; btw do you like racist figures in your public park?

  1. A racist, an adulterer and a draft dodger walk into a McDonald’s…
The cashier asks, “What can I get you Mr. Trump?”

    1. @Ann van de Kew haha, good input. glad you spoke up. obesity is Not a virtue but a plague slash pandemic. to think, er ah, know that guidelines have been changed due to over weight passengers makes me laugh, dey got boats capsizing, limits on toilet paper and Super Size-ing everythang from food orders, trucks- vans, clothes, golf carts and esp. egos’. Charlie Manson must be humored a bit, chuckling parasite.

    2. I thought you people hated war. Now you’re angry Trump didn’t participate in one? So which is it? Is war good or bad?

    3. @Erik L :The war has been the political differences between the government forces and the opposition groups, which led to the armed confrontation.

  2. Confederate flag is not American. The confederates wanted to break up the union… Never was American nor were supporters of the confederacy

  3. At the end of the Civil War, President Lincoln could have had Jefferson Davis, Robert E Lee, all of his generals, and all the leaders of the Confederacy, hung for treason. And if you review history, that’s usually what happens to the side that loses in a civil war. But Lincoln didn’t do that. Instead he had mercy on them, and worked towards peace and reconstruction.

Flying the Confederate rag is a clear statement of contempt for the American flag. Not only does the Confederate flag represent treason, it also represents surrender and defeat. And if slavery is America’s original sin, then the Confederate flag represents the defense of that original sin.

  4. A descendant of Robert E. Lee stepped down as pastor of a small NC church after his comments supporting racial justice sparked a backlash.

The general’s distant nephew, the Rev. Robert W. Lee IV, issued a statement saying he resigned from Bethany United Church of Christ in Winston-Salem after the congregation decided to put his tenure to a vote.

Some church members were not comfortable with Lee’s remarks during the MTV awards when he introduced the mother of Heather Heyer, who was killed in Charlottesville while protesting against white supremacy.
“We have made my ancestor an idol of white supremacy, racism, and hate,” he said on the music network. “As a pastor, it is my moral duty to speak out against racism, America’s original sin.”
Although Lee issued an apology to church members for causing them pain with his remarks, he said he continues to “strongly support” removal of monuments to his ancestor and other Confederates…

To me, this is proof that some Christians only talk the talk.  But there are some who actually walk the walk like this pastor.  Kudos to you Reverend Lee.

    1. This is another issue where I need to examine my own bias towards the faithful. I am quickly learning concurrent lessons from the BLM movement that are helping me see the ways I’ve been unfair and discriminatory, despite believing myself a fair and just person. Growth is good.

  5. With or without color, we all deserve a fair, dignified life with the highest degree of consideration …

    1. david beckham :Non-human animals are exploited and used in endless activities that have different levels of outrage but are essentially the same.

    2. dgilvani :Discrimination and racism come from my ancestors and there is still no bill that be able to eradicating this evil inhuman. There is no discipline without education!

    1. Painkiller Jones I thought you were trying to trap me into some nonsense. Floyd has been honored around the world. You’re just mad because a Black man from Houston has more people who love him than you thought. It’s a shame you would speak so negatively of a DEAD MAN. Human decency is not in you. That’s sad and you look desperate. People of all races from all different counties respect him.

    2. @kookelly And you get your talking points from whom—-BLM and Antifa? Terrorist organizations just like the KKK.

  6. America is the land of opportunity for all skin colors – that was the promise. That promise’s realization needs many improvements to become truly heartfelt and fulfilled

    1. Greg Rank :Discrimination and racism come from my ancestors and there is still no bill that be able to eradicating this evil inhuman. There is no discipline without education!

    1. @mandalor-83 1
WE have the choice of whether Donald Trump continues his reign of incompetence Voting is essential

    2. Vote in all the races and not just for president. Who we send to Congress is as important as who we send to the White House. Don’t forget local races…who is in charge of the police department, education, community organizing, etc. We can make change with our votes…we just have to show up.

  7. It is sad to see the alt-right Trump supporters try to convince us why we shouldn’t be concerned about racial injustice.

  8. In England, the statue of a slave trailer was torn down and thrown into the harbour. Many racist lost their minds.

    1. Jeikobu Okunijuyon I thought she was just playing to the crowd. I can never believe what they actually say.

    2. @Kwarkool she was interviewed on the matter. She observed this incident and was appalled by it.

  9. Seeing the protestors tear down that monument to treason is so powerful and so beautiful. I’m so glad to be witnessing this reclamation ✊🏿✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏻

    1. Lyn777 you are mistaken. They are removing an archaic public display of glorified racism ,veiled as historically important and honourable. Hitler and Stalin did it too. It’s called propaganda.manipulation of society by powerful hate mongers. Cults use the same tactics.🙄

  10. Voter disenfranchisement equals a corrupt government and it’s incompetent to boot! We the people must remove this stain

  11. Like when the niece of ambassador faked being a nursing assistant and claimed bad people were tossing babies out of incubators.
That one video changed public opinion on the Gulf war from 15% for it to 85% for it.. at the time her identity was kept secret for safety concerns
Years later we found out she never worked a day in her life and was related to an ambassador .. lied about the whole thing

  12. BLM is never going to end racism because they don’t want to. What purpose would BLM serve if racial equality is achieved?

    1. It ain’t just about racism with them. Their name U.S. just to disguise their true intentions.

  13. For their part, if cops are trying to figure out ‘HOW’ this all took off, they can pat themselves on the back. The initial response in Minnesota by police to protests was very similar to Ferguson, heavy-handed & aggressive. NOT the response of an institution having some remorse one of their own had done something so sadistic & sociopathic. Then came Trump.
