he must think hes a super star
Where I lived it was by far most of the reason for crime related activities. But does it require a bill and even tabling it when everyone knows anyways I guess the defence can’t drag it through the courts and waste taxpayers money. I stand corrected.
This is great news. The SCC was out to lunch with that ruling
The ruling was fine. The law was not. Striking down the law showed Parliament that it had a gap to fill in.
It is hard to imagine a group of jurists more abstracted from common sense than this current bunch of “supreme” justices.
the fact that this even had to be made a bill is insane
yup, but all for the betterment of ‘peoplekind’…these folks make me sick.
@da da da right. 💯
Glad to see the Canadian Supreme Court is upholding the constitution… by not stopping the freezing of bank accounts or siezing of property before authority was established.
This is the guy who said Canadians have no right to personal property. He could be curing cancer and I would still consider him a dangerous individual.
that’s not what he said and what he did say was factually correct.
@Maltfalc what he said was exactly that and I quote ‘You don’t have an absolute
right to own private property in Canada’.
@Catfactory It doesn’t guarantee your right to breathe as you like, either, but we pretty much take it for granted… 🙄
@Maltfalc what planet are you from????
He’s actually not incorrect about that. Any/everything that is ‘registered’ actually belongs to the service corp masquerading as the gov’t. See Matthew Erhat for a history lesson

yup, but remember!=all for the betterment of ‘peoplekind’…these folks make me sick.
When will this government stop sticking it’s nose into our business? Government in this country has become too big for it’s own britches.
Of course, it is exactly the same as DUI!
You need a law to know that getting drunk out of your mind is a bad idea? And I think this guy must’ve watched Hugo before this interview with all that talk about automatons.
Throw them in jail

Grammar mistake in the title. Mainstream news is dying.

From the same authority that extended operation hours during pandemic of all alcohol liquor stores.
Yup.
This is no thing.
So you’re at a party, and someone slips something in your ginger ale and you go berserk. Character witnesses, track record, all say you’re ‘holier than thou…’. Maybe someone’s idea of a joke, maybe someone purposely malicious? Or – maybe you’re just bored being ‘holier than thou’ and thought you’d try something new while at the party, and blame it on someone else should worst case become apparent.
