Imagine what transpired 50 years ago with no cellphones or cameras
@JoeM350 murdering people is not the job of the police, this is not nazi germany.
@JoeM350 Crime RATES were higher, actually. We just had fewer people back then.
Even 25 years ago
@JoeM350: Selassie: True: Perps back then knew who the bosses were: but this is unforgivable — and I support law enforcement.
Maybe these police officers wanted to mutiny — break the nation, and take the L.
@Airborne80 impunity for Police to indulge their violent passions without hindrance?
At least this police Dept fired the cops. Wish the police Dept where the male officer who punched the female in the face were quicker to act, too. All that from 30¢ piece of cheese. I hope the McDonald’s worker who called police feels some remorse. That person was the catalyst for what later happened.
It’s a difference of color, these black cops thought they could get away with the same thing white cops can
I bet these cops have a history of excessive force will find out out soon !!!!!!! This crap never stops !!!!!
@Billy Cole II Ya unfortunately this sounds like they beat him after he was in handcuffs. The video will probably be really ad but we’ll see.
@Lotso Huggin Bear actually it came out that one of the officers, while working as a corrections officer, beat a man unconscious. sooo, there’s that.
@kNOw Justice kNOw Peace thank you for the info it just seem too me there is a pattern yes / or / no
i bet they find out there were a lot of complaints filed on all of these cops in the past, but they were never taken seriously by their department. that’s why these police killing happen.
@Billy Cole II comply or die, right Mr. Bootlicker?
Sooooo many psychopaths are on the police force.
Might wanna look into a “profession” that has always attracted so many psychopaths
@Brian Niegemann I agree. We need cops who have empathy. We don’t need arrogant, egotistical, power-hungry sociopaths.
Put em in the bad neighborhoods where they’re needed most. Two birds, one stone. 😃
@Haute Head that’s exactly what happened here. And a young man is dead as a result of a traffic violation. i assume the ” bad” neighborhoods are not where you live, but some of your fellow men do live there. And they don’t all deserve to suffer from psycho, out of control cops. At least this time there will be some justice.
@Brian Niegemann they haven’t been convicted yet and the police union has yet to come to their rescue. i wouldn’t assume there’s going to be justice when the trial hasn’t even started.
There should be an automatic sentence enhancement for crimes committed while wearing a policeman’s badge of authority.
@Your Big Head Cousin Exactly!!!!
@Darkness Exactly!!!!
@John Taylor Exactly!!!!
@alex perkins Exactly!!!!
@Rider 38 if the truth genius. It’s been going on for centuries. Just because people don’t want to admit to that fact makes non existent.
My God, anyone of the 5 officers could have done or said something to get the others to stop beating him. I understand the adrenaline is flowing and they were probably all anger because Tyre ran but come on,you beat a young man to death!!!!!!
@Bill Barr These five officers wouldn’t be going to jail for the rest of their lives if they had…
@Bill Barr they had the guys license plate number and knew what his car looked like, they could have easily picked him up later.
@Auntie Z Exactly!!!!
@Courtney Scott These cops showed up in an unmarked vehicle and in regular clothes is my understanding (we’ll confirm when we see the video tomorrow). If so, there’s no wonder why he ran. They stopped him for traffic violation; not for armed robbery. Leave that man alone and pick him up in the morning! Gosh! Use some common sense.
@Auntie Z Exactly and common sense is what the police certainly doesn’t have!!!!
It doesn’t matter what he did. If they continued to beat him after he was in handcuffs they deserve to go to prison for a long time, in my opinion. That’s the height of cowardice.
the police are public officials and should be held to a higher standard, it’s a shame they were not charged with 1st degree murder then given the death penalty. they beat a man to death while he was in handcuffs.
@alex perkins Exactly!!!
@Douglas Scovil Exactly!!!
@Douglas Scovil Abolish the death penalty.
@Softer Ambience Music only your black friends listen to that crap
Running the tag doesn’t automatically give the address of the registered owner. Dispatch will tell the officer if the car is clear and current and what city it’s out of. An officer has to ask for the registered address.
They are going to make an example of these clowns and pretend it’s the system being hard on law enforcement.
They deserve even more punishment. It was black on black. Black men already get killed by the dozen by police each month. The victim was a Fed Ex Driver. They just wanted to beat someone to death and they did.
Politicians….. They know when to seize the moment and pretend to be tough on their own. They used those black cops really good. Good for their dumb black asses. Never forget where you come from….. You ain’t one of them😂😂😂😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Your asses are going to jail. An example will be made of you🫵🏾
And they will possibly claim it’s because their black! 🤦♂️
Are you awake ? What would you prefer, no charges ? What would make you keep your dumb trap shut?
@Diane McEwen a country where there was no need to charge cops for murdering citizens. Because the cops didn’t murder people. Anything else?
Failing to intervene is what happened with George Floyd’s case.
This is worse than G.F. case
This isn’t the first time they’ve done this
The chiron shouldn’t say “Former officers charged” Its more accurate to say “5 Memphis officers fired and charged…”. The other way makes it sound like they were no longer cops when they murdered someone. It matters, to me anyway, that they murdered a man on duty.
Ex-actly
Hopefully this is sending a clear message to crooked police officers that there will be some serious consequences.
How to appear in The Actes and Monuments Part Deux is the other message.
George Floyd didn’t seem to teach them anything.
The cop that ashli babbitt got off scot free. What kind of message does that convey?
Unfortunately there are people who join the force to have power
After so many of these incidents over the years one would think it’d be in the minds of every officer of just what to do if ever the situation arose on their watch . It’s absolutely astounding that not one of them found the courage to say stop . If they had come across 5 civilians beating another would they not see that as a crime ? So why on earth would they not recognize they’re own actions as such ? This is the very epitome of bad policing . It must have been premeditated, they would have been itching to find anyone to beat to death .
Mob mentality, sadistic socialpaths are everywhere.
老實說,我們都記得這個視頻:-

that’s why there are no good police officers, the “good” ones stand by and do nothing while the bad ones are beating, maiming and killing people, like in the George Floyd case. the other big thing is there is no accountability in law enforcement because police departments are allowed to investigate themselves when their officers have done something illegal or a complaint is filed. the police are given Qualified Immunity from prosecution (unless they do something really hideous like in this case), so they handle the public with a malicious sense of impunity.
Also, any one of those cops could have been treated the exact same way they treated Tyre, badge or not, cop or not in another county or town in Tennessee and I bet those cops wouldn’t have been punished as fast as these stupid asses were.
It’s obvious that no ” good officers” were there . To say there aren’t any is completely wrong . Unless we’re speaking of Bakersfield California..and even there , where police brutality is the highest in the country.. and not only brutality, but illegal activities by the police such as drug dealings, with an almost Robin Hood theme , take from the dealers and sell it themselves, however unlike Robin Hood, they also keep all the money for themselves. I’m not making this up , it’s documented.
It is normal to run if someone is hurting you instead of treating you with respect. You are innocent until the courts decide.
Lolol
Crimes while holding any public position should automatically receive an upgrade. Police, politician, city official etc…..
You arrest people who break the law. You don’t beat them to death. This needs a thorough investigation on all the officers and the Department
The Monkey:Exactly!!!!
THIS GUY WAS A PRODUCTIVE PERSON IN SOCIETY . HE HAD A GOOD JOB WORKING FOR FED X AND HE WAS A FATHER OF A 4 YEAR OLD BOY.
FED-EX*
It kind of begs the question: how many times did these “elite” law enforcement officers brutally attack innocent civilians, stopping short of lethal force, and therefore not face repercussions? Which inevitably leads to the conclusion that these atrocities are going to continue to happen because the mindset of law enforcement agencies promotes it.
