*Quebec
@mactavish sams Are you naive enough to think this will stay in Quebec? Of course not.
These laws go against the Charter of Rights and Freedoms which is the highest law in the land. These “laws” cannot override the Charter. This legislation will be challenged and defeated.
Charter, Section 7
2. (iii) Right to security of person. Security of the person includes a person’s right to control his/her own bodily integrity. It will be engaged where the state interferes with personal autonomy and a person’s ability to control his or her own physical or psychological integrity.
2. (ii) Right to liberty. Section 7 also protects a sphere of personal autonomy involving “inherently private choices” that go to the “core of what it means to enjoy individual dignity and independence”
Feels surreal. Right now I can’t believe I live in one of the best countries in the world.
But it’s still ok for POC/BLM protests though. Sure is a lotta B.S. for a pandemic that doesn’t even exist.
Can you imagine how many tickets there’ll be by next week?!
Basically, you MUST visit with friends at a restaurant/outside, but *NOT inside your own home?* Wow😨

Desperate times needs desperate measures. Don’t worry everything will come back to normal eventually.
income tax was supposed to be temporary.. middle eastern intervention was supposed to be temporary.. printing money was supposed to be a temporary solution for the recession we are in.. now they are probably going to have to double the GST lol
They carry weapons, we need to do the same. They threaten, we need to threaten back.
Stand your GROUND!
Someone needs to challenge this based on the charter of basic human rights.this is not appropriate. This is not Canadian.
What if the somebody has a gun
Seperation
