Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump was sitting for breakfast with American business leaders last week when the conversation turned to the dangerous new virus spreading from China.
On Tuesday, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar told reporters that he and Trump were “speaking regularly” about the outbreak, and that he was in daily contact with White House officials.
“The President is highly engaged in this response and closely monitoring the work we’re doing to keep Americans safe,” Azar said.
A White House source described the attitude toward the coronavirus as a “sense of urgency, not panic.”
“The full weight of the U.S. Government is working on this,” a senior administration official said on Tuesday. “As with any interagency effort of this scale, the National Security Council works closely with the whole of government to ensure a coordinated and unified effort.”

Border walls? Sounds like a certain president with an orange coating. Also you do realize that infecting red states will also mean more people can potentially infect you right? Or cross your “border wall”to blue states. What about the food production? Most food is produced in red states…And for so many other reasons. People in red states don’t deserve to die because they live in a red state. What binds Trump and his hardcore base is their hatred of Obama, just because he’s black. They believe that he should have never been president for that reason.
Birtherism is what really endeared them to Trump.
That’s why whenever Trump’s incompetence is on full display, he has to find out how Obama handled something similar, and try to find something in related to it that he can use to criticize him. This is done in order to deflect from Trump’s blundering.
Trump either end up lying about Obama’s handling of the matter, engage in misinformation or blame Obama for his (Trump’s) own mishandling.
Notice that Trump doesn’t do the same with other former presidents, only Obama.
As long as the dying are Democrats, why should he care ? Haven’t you noticed that he is only stirring up the protests in blue states ? That looks like the strategy of a “stable genius”, who is “kind of smart”, because dead Democrats can’t vote, unless they live in California.
