them damn judges don’t deserve no pay increase cause they ain’t doing a good job . they set so many crooks free and the ones that got prison time its too little those judges is too soft on crime

All these judges and other public and private sector workers were all taught by basic school teachers who has not even gotten not even $100 Jamaican dollar on their salary or subsidy.
The average basic school teacher who receives subsidy receives a little over $30000 after tax. I am just saying …..
That’s a lot of money to pay a group of people who don’t do anything other than set criminals free and/or give them light sentences. It’s even more shocking that any of our civil servants would get paid more than the other islands; most of which are far better off than Jamaica. This is another example of how backwards this country is.

These judges are not getting the approval of the citizens of this country so why are they getting a raise of pay ? I don’t understand . The criminals are getting away with all types of atrocities when the go before them. Such a disgrace.
Suh why dem find so much excuse to not give teachers and nurses raise; but judges weh nuh have a problem with them salary can easily get a raise❓️ I’m so frustrated with this government 😒 😤 if the judges were doing a good job it wouldn’t be so bad

Teachers and other groups had to fight for 3&4% increase. This is an insult to other working groups.
