  1. this guy can rot in prison, his action probably cause hundreds and thousands of lives of the troops on the front line.

  2. He don’t “ give a “ what …? Lock him up … I use to feel bad for him … now lock him up

  3. If the defendant said that, just give him 25 years. We sadly can’t have someone with that demiouner given any more time in society at this moment and clearly is showing a risk to the public by not giving a damn. You give someone like this leniency and you watch them do something even worse in the future or setting an example for others.

    1. Russians shovel dirt on fascists since history can remember, and still today!😂who’s that?

    2. To use that word in the complete wrong sense is telling of your Western education 😆

    3. Do you even know what that word means or do you just say it like a parrot cuz you heard others do it🤣

    4. @TrollzRfunny what? is that your attempt at being funny? Your last name must be 👃

  4. He belongs at GITMO with Ginni Thomas, both traitors! 😂

  5. How did it get to this point? His OC and immediate superior should also be investigated.

  6. As he should be. Wth… justice in this country is way too lenient if there is even a second thought.

  7. 3 times too many his superiors let him get away with it & they should be investigated. He needs to stay in jail.

  8. This was a leadership problem on the base. There were people in his unit that knew what he was doing and should have told someone in leadership. If they did tell someone in leadership then leadership should have removed him after the first time and the 2nd time should have removed his access and given him another job. The two warnings they reported is not the only time they talked to him about what he was doing. It just was the two times they documented. This is a perfect example of leadership not paying attention to the soldiers under them.

    1. I agree with you, but that doesn’t change the fact that this guy is a danger to national security if he’s allowed out on supervised release. He is clearly indicated by past action that he doesn’t believe anyone can supervise him and he will do whatever the heck he wants.

    2. @SeanPat1001  who said I was taken accountable away from him or saying he needs to be released. My point was as a veteran who was in a senior leadership position. You deal with young people who are troubled and make bad decisions all the time. You, as a leader, need to be aware of what your people are doing and their mindset. It’s your job as a leader to protect them and the nation from this type of problem. His leadership failed him, and their responsibilities to their duty to protect that information.

    3. @Shawn The Great Oh definitely. I was an E6 in the Navy. I once disobeyed a direct order because it would’ve put someone in unnecessary danger. NCOs at that level have the mother hen gene. We look out for the people we supervise. However, this guy is a danger and needs to be restrained.

I also feel there was a failure of supervision and this guy could have been managed much better. However because he is now a danger they need to take steps to reduce that danger.

I also think they need to take steps to manage secure information better and determine if there are other loose cannons out there. This may be the tip of a big iceberg.

  9. What questions did he ask? Maybe others are asking the same questions? I think knowing what these questions are would help us identify clowns like this.

  10. I think it would be prudent to keep him in prison in long enough time that anything he might know and remember becomes unclassified. I think that takes about 20 years.

  11. Wait, his supervisors knew he was “deep diving” into classified materials *twice* before the one that got him caught, and they didn’t do anything sooner? Am I missing something here ?

    1. @splashmt99 They may or may not be criminally liable but they are career ending professionally liable.

  12. There’s far too many alarm bells that were ignored here, he should have had his clearance removed and been investigated the first time this came to light, what the hell were his superior officers thinking.

  13. When Jack Teixeira was questioned about his understanding of the damage and risk he has caused by leaking classified intel on Discord. He simply replied, “I don’t give a f**ked.”
This show he didn’t do it unintentionlly. Maybe is a good thing he is behind bars before the trial. Who knows what he might do next.

  14. Judge:”What if I’m wrong, what are the consequences of my action?”
gee, if only 90% of the incompetent D.A and judges can think like this when they release a known repeat offender.

  15. Everyone needs to stop calling him a “kid”. He is a grown adult that knew exactly what he was doing. Let’s not trivialize this
