Joy Reid: Martin Luther King Jr’s Words Still Relevant In 2021 | The ReidOut | MSNBC

  1. MLK, had more than the “I have a dream “ speech. The man gave a lot of speech’s some were more honest and realer than America is ready for.

    1. Today I listened, again, to “I have been to the mountaintop” and it’s so relevant and while disturbing, also gave me hope – “only when the sky is darkest can we see the stars”.

  2. If A Person Doesn’t Learn Mercy From MLK They Have No Soul. He Teaches Mercy, Patients And Love In A Way No Other Ever Will. God Has Blessed Us With MLK And Nelson Mandela.

  3. Wow! If every leader we had was as sharp as Martin Luther King Jr was, we’d be lightyears ahead of were we are today. Amazing man!

  4. Today I also listened to his “I have been to the mountaintop” speech. He spoke of unity and with today’s upsetting environment reminded “only when the sky is darkest can you see the stars”. Another speech identifying the unjust foot on the throats of sanitation workers.

  5. BLM’s official Instagram launched “Twerk on Washington” to celebrate MLK and free the black female body from colonization. They mixed the “I have a dream” speech into the background being Twerked to.

  6. He knew it wasn’t just a black people suffering at the hands of our society the poor have always suffered just black people the black poor suffer more

  7. Dr. King’s words are as relevant today as they were when he first spoke them, and they will remain relevant far into the future.
