@Good Day they should have gone to any hospital in the U.S. regardless of insurance or money…if a hospital gets government funds (accepts Medicare/Medicaid) they must take the uninsured. Fact…the more you know.

@Victoria Grayson I do. its because he had no options, and that he was an HMO patient that he was not a priority, despite his dire need. They had to find a surgeon that was covered under his insurance in a hospital that was covered by his insurance. If it was universal healthcare, that would not be a factor, and the priority would just be about the severity of the situation. That’s how they gauge it elsewhere.

@Immovable Object – No, I was actually being serious. My point was, people assume all young adults will vote for Bernie due to healthcare for all or free college tuition. 1. All young people don’t have student loan debt. Only 15% of high school graduates actually attend college. 2. Most young adults are young and healthy and seldom get sick. They’re not concerned about heath care until they are older or have children. My daughter could care less because she knows she’s covered until age 26. Young adults voted in the the primaries, they didn’t all vote for Bernie. Some voted for Biden and Trump, but they voted.
