@WhiskeyWight listen I’m not saying your ignorant but the facts are the facts. I take it as a matter of education and the truth is indisputable.
There are no slaves alive today nor are there slave owners alive today. We must learn from English philosopher and political economist Jon Stewart Mills who stated that “almost every people now civilized have consisted in majority of slaves”. The ancient Chinese perhaps engaged in slavery more than any other people followed closely by India. We were called Egyptians use slaves a great deal as did the Romans. My people were enslaved by both the Romans and the English.
Slavery was primarily an issue in South America and the Caribbean and came to the Americas before we were even a country. Those champion reparation should go to Africa because at the time slavery was extremely profitable for the great African empires, selling their captives to Arab in the Middle East buyers. The African empires allowed Europeans to establish courts in Western Africa, And begin selling slaves, that’s the Atlantic slave trade begin. If reparations are going to be paid it should be paid by African governments who sold their people.
