  1. ETERNAL FATHER BLESSED OUR LAND GUIDE US WITH YOUR MIGHTY HAND 🤚 KEEP US FREE FROM EVIL POWER THAT CONSUME THE GOVERNMENT

  2. It’s a good exchange between countries based on the current global education crisis. Good thing we have such good neighbors 👌🏽

  3. I had a Cuban teacher in high school and he taught Spanish class. Safe to say I’ve learnt nothing in his class. His accent was soo thick even his English sounded like Spanish.
We eventually had to get a Jamaican teacher that taught the subject

    1. Thank you for saying all of dis what a disgrace and Jamaican groverment what a wicked set of people we don’t want Spanish teachers to teach our children go away with that use our tax money to pay our Jamaican teachers our tax money is not for Jamaican wicked groverment to put in your pocket we need our Jamaican teachers thank you

    2. Cuban don’t smell good are carry them good I see some in hospital nuh look good them clothes dirty 💩 tell mi now what Jamaican gone to Jesus christ help 😣 😣

  4. It’s not only wage why teachers leave. Add to that the disrespect from students, parents and administrators plus the crime in the wider society.

  5. People are craving a new Jamaica. There’s no structure in place so crime keeps spiralling out of control because the PM is out of his depth. Accidents take innocent lives due to Jamaicans being some of the most indisciplined people on the planet who don’t adhere to road codes or much else for that matter. It’s full time to stop recycling these leaders and parties who passed their expiry dates and cannot lead and fail the people time and time again.

  6. Farmers suffer the most in this country. When you think of seeds, fertilizers, feeds for animals, insecticides, pesticides , predial larceny and other factors at the end of these costs you have a glut on the market you end up a pauper .The Minister of Arigilcture is a dead log .Farmers need help.

  7. Teachers are running off bcaz some a di pikini dem too outa aada, big up to the teachers them who a run off..!!!!

  8. I remember in the 1980s the JLP send back all the Cuban to their country, but I’m I’m happy to know that the Cuban are so helpful to our country, not only teacher’s but nurses aswell that’s good after all they’re our closest neighbor.

  9. Now, you see why degree, master etc don’t have no use. If you they cannot find money to pay the Jamaican teachers, how they going to find the money to pay the Cuban teachers? Also what about the English barrier with us and Cubans, they don’t understand English that well also they understand our broken language.

This is so stupid I wonder who came up with this idea?

  10. What is happening in Jamaica?
The minister doesn’t know that there’s a lots of qualified teachers in Jamaica with their degrees and still not being employed since last year.
Seek out these teachers and hire them so that they can feed their family too. They must be first priority.

  11. The accute driving force beyond the teacher migration is really the US shortage of teachers. Even those who would have put up with the low wages and all other negative treatment, will find it hard to resist US salaries. Texas and Florida especially are desperate for teachers.

    1. This is the real reason this time around, not due to salary but as you mentioned but Jamaicans will not see that. Why stay when you get better salaries in the U.S.
