@owen ferguson it’s because I am used to seeing other interviewers say they watched, or read the book or whatever they interviewing about.
I agree. She should have watched it; it would have demonstrated an interest and level of preparation that go beyond just “doing a job.” If she’d watched it, she could have referenced it….BUT, I’m now wondering if she’s a stand-in interviewer…maybe she was only asked to step in a few minutes before air time. I do hope that that’s the case…
@Bev Greg Despite me not knowing how TV programme works I feel she should have watched it because exactly as you say to demonstrate interest. She’s not a stand-in, been doing it for years.
