Iโm not a fan but have a lot of respect for him

A great interview. Love Rafa. One of the greatest tennis player and a awesome human being.

As of this moment, heโs the greatest. The GOAT. I donโt think Roger will catch him in regards to The slams. Djokovic might. It goes like this: Roger is the greatest at Wimblendon. Djokovic at Australian. Rafa is the king at Roland Garros. And Jimmy Connors at the US Open. But the GOAT is Rafa. As of this moment.
And donโt laugh about Jimmy Connors: Connors reached the final of the US Open in five straight years from 1974 through 1978, winning three times with each win being on a different surface (1974 on grass, 1976 on clay and 1978 on hard). He won the US Open five times. His final years at the US open, though he did not win, were simply amazing.
In my opinion he’s the goat
I was never a fan of Rafa in the beginning but he grew on me. Such a class act with great humility and integrity. Wonderful human being!!

@Stock On truth Channel Knew what?? That he was going to win his 14th title?? Nothing is set in stone until it actually happens. But, yeah, Rafa’s 14th was on his racquet.
Guys and girls make a note :

Rafa is king, love Rafa
Rafa๐ ! ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ Inspiring for 19 years for many reasons including his humility.
Indeed
Such a humble guy โฆ total respect
Agreed.
Totally, Nadal and even Federer are good men.
@Jack of all Trades Agree
Going back to years ago, lots of experts predicted Rafa might not be able to play long because of his style potentially damaging his body. Now he is still playing and winning at age of 36.
Hopefully he continues.
Amazing athlete.
I was fan on this guy for early start and I told my friends he will be greatest at all the time but they never agreed with me after 15 yrs they admitted that I was right. What a great guy
The greatest of all time? That remains to be seen. 2 more majors than djokovic is not reason to be the all time best. And as of today, djokovic has a winning record over Nadal, more tournament wins and been number 1 more times.
@Thomas John Wait and see Carlos Alcaraz…
Congratulations Rafa!! ๐พ๐๐พ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Hats off to a great champion, a wonderful guy and a fellow Madridista.
Grateful to live watching Nadal’s tennis.
Wonderful player to watch and wonderful, wonderful person! Thank you Rafa for being the inspiration you are
My brother really loves Rafa and I’m into Roger but now I’m into Rafa because he is very tough minded person even though of his physical injuries and age he still able to conquer all the odds. What a great champion Rafa, Congratulations ๐
GOAT RAFA! humble, low key, down to earth, what a champ
Hopefully he continues
I was always a Federer die hard, but what Rafa has done coming back from numerous injuries to again rise to the top is unparalleled and canโt be ignored! Anyone that follows tennis knows what a roller coaster this man has been on the last few years, and to keep winning at the end isโฆ
Rafa is one of my favorite people in the world. I have never met him personally, but I have listened to and watched a number of interviews he has given in Spanish and he’s very consistent. His motto is to be a good human being, period. As an athlete, he’s very competitive, dedicated, hard-working, and goal-oriented. But, the guy has class and is very respectful and generous as Amanpour mentioned. He has a non-profit in Mallorca that helps kids get started in Tennis, everything is paid for by his organization.
He is the greatest of all time.. I know it is subjective matter but for me he is the greatest! Bravo ๐๐ป
