Refusing a country to join NATO because Turkey accuses them of sheltering Kurdish rebels and some radical burnt thousand years old religious books or the lives of Millions of Turkish people affected by the earthquake? Imagine loosing everything you own in an instant! Your thoughts would be on elderly that couldn’t get out and friends, family and neighbors. Imagine being a mother or father and not having your kids with you when it happend. The tragedy in this world lately is almost too much to bear at times. My God, I cannot imagine being trapped under such a tall building flattened, injured and possibly with multiple broken bones. My heart breaks for all who are clinging to hope and waiting to be found and pulled out. I pray they are found and rescued, each and one of them. My thoughts and prayers are with them and their loved ones! ❤
Also the cold. Where I live the temperature’s the same and it’s super inconvenient at best, obviously 1000× worse if you’re trapped in a collapsed building.
All I can do is cry. I donated to Doctors Without Borders with hope they are helping the injured. I am praying for all. The cold weather, the people who perished, the survivors, I wish I could do more.
