As a rapper, singer and global pop star, Drake has emerged as one of the most famous and most streamed artists alive today, while also drawing a range of criticism and "hating" from within and beyond hip hop. MSNBC's Ari Melber discusses Drake's career and the endurance of his haters with DJ Peter Rosenberg, among other topics, on Fallback Friday, an irreverent segment on MSNBC's “The Beat.”

He is basically a social media influencer , nothing more
come on that’s unfair. He’s also a soft drink promoter and hair club for men member!
A message from the Lord, to all former Christians; Please come home again!
(Luke 15:7)- “there will be more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!
(Explanation of Luke 15:7)- “ did you know that according to the words of Jesus Christ himself, that there will be more joy in heaven for a Christian who left the faith and returned than for a Christian who never strayed away!
And more importantly, when you come back to God you will have a clean slate! All of your sins forgiven! The Lord is not looking to punish you or be angry with you when you come home! No! You will be forgiven for everything!
(Isaiah 56:1)- This what the Lord says:
(Isaiah 43:4)- “you are precious to me and I love you.”
(Isaiah 44: 22)- “I have blotted out like a thick cloud your transgressions, and like a cloud your sins. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.
Real easy ..no …being cute on sprite commercials isn’t golden age rap ..where the real greatest are …..Atari
Someone must be on crack! The Greatest Rapper of all time? Pac, Biggie, Snoop. I would guarantee anyone would choose to listen to them over Drake.
Hilarious title. Chuck D, Gift of Gab, MF Doom, Black Thought humiliate Drake lyrically.
100%
about a million others too
Nope, he isn’t the greatest rapper of all time.
I’m a millennial who listens to all kinds of music and I could not name a single drake song. Not saying he isn’t great but he certainly hasn’t transcended in the way that guys like biggie and 2pac did.
I grew up when Biggie and Tupac were alive. These days you just can’t get an experience or quality like their artwork.
I hope Ari does a shout-out tonight to Biz Markie, who passed away last night at age 57.
“You… you gotts what i neee-eeeed… but you say “he’s juss a fren, but you say he’s juss a fren OH BABY YOUUUUUUUUU…..!”
If it hadn’t been for a Beavis and Butthead episode that tune would’ve been lost.
Respect to Drake but there are other old rappers that deserve that title.
NO HE ISN’T THE GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME.
A JOKE HERE!
🤜🏿
The truth, no one could care less.
Come eternity, fame nor fortune nor title will impart salvation. The love of Christ, a life devoted to fellow man and the preaching of the word is the only road to the glory of God.
Lol absolutely NOT! Not even top 10 in last 10 years. He is a pop star.
Someone needs the pull Ari Melber’s hip-hop/rap card… Drake is an R&B artist and Kanye hasn’t made a true rap song since like 2003
I like Drake but he’s not the best rapper he doesn’t write his own music
The bar has been lowered so much in the last 15 years than he’s one the best of today’s batch of rappers by default. But of all time? Not in the top 500 in terms of lyrical ability.
Ari Melber probably thinks the “Major Bag Alert” song from the Wendy’s commercial is tight
Lol the quick answer is naw. He’s been more Instagram influencer than rapper since like 2010.
The fact this question is even being asked is straight up blasphemy
Greatest “rapper”…no. However, he’s good at it.
You actually have to write your own songs to even get a shot at that title.
Group of white men: “Drake is an icon.”
Pusha T: “Yeah it’s iconic to have a diss record force you to be a father to your child.”
Adonis: 🙄🙄🙄
World: 😂😂😂
