Is Automation Actually Killing The Middle Class? | Velshi & Ruhle | MSNBC
Mr. Know it all, Matt Stoller. He’s more out of touch than he thinks
Not all machines take jobs away. Someone makes those machines some designs them, some makes all the small parts or many people do. Someone programs the computer behind them. So in many cases they add jobs. So no hes not fully out if touch. MSNBC and CNN are so bias and al wa ays have a tag team to someone with different ideas.
@Dan Vercruysse you do know that AI programs and codes now right? Automation is assembling the robots. Maybe small parts are being produced or assembled by ppl but that can be easily replaced as well. Though it’s not practical yet, 3d machines are building houses. Whether ppl want to acknowledge it or not, full automation will be the future for many businesses. It’s just more cost effective for companies.
‘Is automation actually killing the middle class?’ ‘Hopefuly’
You can keep talking loud, doesnt mean you’re right! Thank you!
Yes, of course, we need to return to the time when it took an army of workers to light the gas street lights and to extinguish them in the morning. Bad automation, bad modern times.
Maybe someone can repair the rotting infrastructure first? Maybe a high speed train so we can catch up to China, Saudi and europe? This is what we get when the wealthy take over…. NOTHING.
Matt : this is racist against robot & that me 🤭
Don’t think automation is a problem? Go to the store and,to restaurants with their self, checkout lines.
@Primalxbeast Where I live there is still much that can only be done at the bank but then I refuse to do on line banking so they’re just gonna have to deal with me 🙂
People used to pump your gas for you. Things change robots are not replacing mass jobs I work for a top 100 manufacturing Corp we still make and assemble wigets China and Mexico and unions have destroyed current and past jobs.
Absolutely agree… I hate the Robot lines… No one interacts … They shut down human cashier lines in the evening…it’s getting ridiculous.
@Stacy Cameron I hate human lines because I just need to pay for one pack of gum and a bottle of coke but the cashier is slow and there are like 20 people in line. I’d rather take my two objects and go to one of ten self-checkout counters.
@Stacy Cameron and @junglechick13 my point is that you may prefer interaction, but there are just as many people who prefer non-interactions of increase efficiencies
ask matt who funds the federalist
Oh how yang has brought a news station to there knees. You will put respect on his name MSNBC
Omar Brathwite exactly. Yang 2020!
#Yang2020 #YangGang needs to step it up, play his Taiwan roots, and put some balls behind his candidacy – like with “The only legitimate government of China for the past 100 years is the one currently sitting in Taipei on Taiwan, where my parents come from”. If he can do that, then he’ll break out of the pack – big time. Go on the offensive against the NBA (railing against Communist China’s “stay out of our internal affairs” with “when it comes to the cause of freedom and human rights, there is no room for the cloak of sovereignty anywhere on this Earth!”); rail against MS-NBC and its conglomerate:
NBC & MS-NBC ← NBC/Universal → Universal Studios Beijing (“Bigger than Disney” [1]) ← Chinese Communist Party “If you want to do business on our turf in our huge market, you’ll watch what you say and align with and abide by our requests, biases and preferences. Now, go after our enemies for us, like the good little American dogs you are.” *BUSTED* ! [2]
Openly call out the Chinese Communist party – “Even your insiders say you have no future.” [3]
If he can do all that, and step up his campaign, then we’ll be talking business. You can’t make headway except by leaving waves in your wake.

Oldboy must remember robots receive no pay ,but the owner would
Matt stroller, I think I just lost brain cells listening to you.
At least you have some. He doesn’t have any. He is a robot
Matt obviously haven’t learnt what a truck driver is yet. Give him some time
Technology has been stealing jobs since the Industrial Revolution but we’ve always been able to adapt and keep people employed.
Although the increased speed of technological replacement has increased rapidly over the past few years, money, power and profit has driven jobs AWAY from the USA.
The Dems only want to ensure that this practice doesn’t continue to destroy the middle class.
“ Detroit Becomes Human 🔥 “
WWhats killing our middle class is unfair trade agreements, stagnant wages, and tax loopholes for corporations plus tax breaks….
Matt is so dumb, it’s almost hilarious.
This guy uses bing #yanggang
Reagan stopped doing it in the 80’s.
Democrats don’t despise Businesses, they despise Businesses that take advantage of their workers.
Yes “radical” programs like Social Security.
Holyshit this guy is stupid. If hes gonna write a book about something like this, pick up an economics 101 book.
