“Voting rights” is not voting without id.
That’s not what’s at issue, genius. You *do* need ID to vote. What’s being proposed is needing a *specific* ID; not letting normal forms serve. And there’s no justification for it. There isn’t widespread voter fraud. Even less in-person. It would do nothing for mail-in voting. It just puts up needless barriers to voting. Also, there are more issues than the voter ID measures. There’s blatant targeting of minorities by disallowing voting on the day that black people disproportionately choose to vote.
@Bismuth Crystal show me evidence for black voter suppression in the 21st century then! (CNN or nbc saying it doesn’t count) and actually, yes that’s exactly what they’re trying to do they want the least amount of scrutiny for voters so the left can do what they want as an increasing number of people read through their lies. Requiring verification to make sure you are able to vote in the most important election in the world is not racist or oppressive it is due process.
