  1. That smug sneer on Elon’s face is most irritating. This man wants to make waves but somehow I have a feeling it wont be beneficial ones.
    I hope I am wrong.

  2. You mean people might have to actually start talking (with their mouths) to each other again and looking at each other? A whole new experience for some.

    1. @Twixxtro No I’m just not brainwashed by social media Twitter or anything else I’ve got a mind of my own

  3. Even keeping textbook prices in mind, seems more important to average citizens to break up tech & Kroger’s than book publishers.

    1. Musk deserves all the hate he’s receiving. He’s a troll who has a huge bank account, The glibly insults others who achieve better than he does. I’ll never forget him calling the doctor/diver hero who saved those Thai children trapped in a cave, a “pedo”. Simply because they didn’t need nor want Elons little play submarine. He’s a complete tool and I hope he loses his $44b.

  4. Hey Elon, for equality sake give everyone on Twitter a Blue Check Mark. Then drop the $8 charge after the Checkered pay their first month premiums.

  5. CNN, CNN, CNN, when are you going to start learning, ” Winners focus on Winning, Losers focus on the Winners”. Hope this helps your network positively.

  6. This is the problem with people having more money than they keep up with. They get bored and behave like idiots! I’m glad I don’t mess with Twitter!!

  7. Well, call me old-fashioned, but thankfully, I’ve never had a Twitter account, and I seem to be surviving well enough, I mean with multiple other social media options, I wonder if others will realize that they can just simply not use some of these platforms, and actually still live a productive, well-informed existence. Then again, maybe I’m just dreaming …

    1. I had a twitter account briefly and I stopped using it because I didn’t want to have bullshit from Elon Musk or the Kardashians forced on me and there’s no way to turn it off. I now have a dark twitter account that never posts, retweets, follows, or anything else.. I only use it so I can scroll past the “create an account to view more” blockade when a tweet is mentioned in the news. And Rider, this has nothing to do with free speech. You can’t yell “fire” in a crowded theater when there’s no fire, remember that one from high school? Well you can’t yell “fraud” in an election when there’s no fraud.

    2. I’ve never had a twitter it’s a echo chamber and full of misinformation and hateful people I’d say the best thing for people to do is ignore him he wants all this attention it’s right out of trumps playbook

    3. @X-ray mind Jesus, that’s a terrifying thought. Another Trump but this time he’s actually wealthy and empowered to realize his twisted aspirations. You know back in the 70s and 80s Trump was just a guy with a lot of money and political opinions. He used the NYT the same way Musk uses social media.

  8. Musk in the median of the info-highway with his cardboard sign: “Will give you Blue Badge for $8. God bless.”

  9. When someone prioritizes doesn’t jive with your agenda you start picking a fight with , let the guy do his job ,

  10. I’ve never used Twitter but as an outsider it looked like a nut house. Now a lunatic has taken over the asylum.

Twitter…the new MySpace. Someones gonna lose soooooo much money and it couldn’t happen to a more deserving person.

  11. If more people leave twitter and the ad revenue evaporates, the investors that bought twitter for him gets to take his Tesla stock.

Mass exodus of twitter bankrupts Mushy.

  12. Rupert Murdoch showed how much damage a rich provocateur can cause. Now Elon wants to play. Oh, well. Twitter was fun while it lasted.

  13. As the left says it’s a private company, they can do what they want, I love when the left’s BS comes back and bites them 😂
