There had been series of allegations of serious crimes within the current administration in Dominica, which prompted Weekly Blitz in conducting a comprehensive investigation into the issue. By now, we have received dozens of specific documents evidences on series of crimes and massive discrepancies.
Prime Minister of Dominica, Mr. Roosevelt Skerrit, sensing the investigation of Weekly Blitz, tried to buy the editor of the newspaper by offering “trip to Dominica” at Prime Minister’s “own expenses”. Such proposals were made by the “attorney of the government” of Dominica and de facto spokesman for the administration – Anthony Astaphan. Such alluring proposal has greatly helped the editorial board of internationally known award winning newspaper Blitz in understanding the rogue administration in Dominica, which is led by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, a man already facing accusation of violating the constitutional provisions of the country, as well as involved in numerous dubious activities.
Weekly Blitz wanted to know from the government of Dominica about the accusations of granting citizenship to notorious mafia don Dawood Ibrahim and his daughters and son-in-laws. In response to a question in a radio show, Anthony Astaphan bluntly denied that no such citizenship or passport has ever been granted in favor of Dawood Ibrahim. Subsequently he said if any such citizenship or passport has ever been found, it would have been fake. He also told the radio show that issuance of passport to Dawood Ibrahim will put him into “shock”.
Meanwhile, the government of Dominica in a press announcement has refused the allegation of granting any citizenship of passport to Dawood Ibrahim, while it did not comment on the allegation of issuing passport and granting citizenship to daughters and son-in-laws of the notorious mafia don. Similarly Anthony Astaphan has failed to reply to the questions from Weekly Blitz related to granting of citizenship to Dawood Ibrahim’s daughters and son-in-laws.
Weekly Blitz has already received documentary evidences of the rogue administration of Roosevelt Skerrit giving refuge to absconding criminals from various countries, by granting them citizenship of Dominica. There are also unconfirmed allegation of Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit’s connection with Iranian rackets of producing counterfeit US dollar bills as well as hidden links between the rogue administration of Dominica with under-world mafias in Russia and China as well as several Jihadist outfits.
Attorney of the government of Dominica, Anthony Astaphan was repeatedly requested to suggest any official spokesman or government sources in Dominica to clarify the questions. But it was proved that Anthony Astaphan is actually working as the only de facto spokes person of the rogue Administration and the Prime Minister of Dominica – Mr. Roosevelt Skerrit; although initially Anthony told Weekly Blitz that, government of Dominica is “one of” his “several clients”.
Anthony Astaphan was repeatedly asked by Weekly Blitz that if any terrorists or suspected individuals are also getting Dominica citizenship as Dominica offers citizenship to adults for an “investment” of US$ 100,000 while US$ 25,000 for minors.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Dominica, Ambrose George, was ousted as he was found connected with Julien Giraud, who was arrested at Puerto Rico for 419 scams by FBI. During this FBI raid, Ambrose George was also present at the place of occurrence, though he skipped arrest as was using diplomatic passport being the deputy prime minister of Dominica. Later after the election in 2009, where Roosevelt Skerrit’s party got landslide victory, Ambrose George, a man who lost the post of the Deputy Prime Minister for his connection with 419 scams in Nigeria, was re-instated into another important office in the government. It should be mentioned here that Prime Minister Roosevelt Skeritt is an intimate friend of both Ambrose George and Julien Giraud. It may be mentioned here that, convicted scammer Julien Giraud has returned to Dominica and living a luxurious life.
It is also known that the Prime Minister of Dominica till 2010 was holding dual citizenship, which now is fighting a legal battle in the Dominica court for such issue. According to specific information, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit was holding citizenship of France [French Passport Number 07AB31796] and Dominica until 2010, when he denounced the French citizenship after winning election in 2009. Under the existing constitution of Dominica, any person holding dual citizenship is declared ineligible of holding any office in the government. In such case, Mr. Roosevelt Skerrit’s election as the Prime Minister in 2009, while he was having dual citizenship, is a clear violation of the Constitutional Provisions of Dominica. Any person violating this provision is liable of both financial penalty and imprisonment. But, Roosevelt Skerrit is having total control over Dominica’s judicial system, thus turning the country into a rogue state.
Sensing such huge legal consequences, Anthony Astaphan, the attorney of Dominica Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, is making frantic bid in saving his client from losing the office of the Prime Minister as well as from being imprisoned for violating the constitutional provisions of the country. Anthony Astaphan is a citizen of Dominica with Syrian/Lebanese parentage. At the same time, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has closer ties with Iran as well as has been able to establish intimate relations with Lebanese Hezbollah and Palestinian Hamas, along with a number of Jihadist and mega terrorist outfits in the world.
