    1. actually the food price doesn’t go down as they want to keep the excess profit in shareholders pockets

    2. @Cowboys Fan the government and the shareholders don’t see it that way and nor you or i can change that

  1. and yet the government refused to enforce the anti gouging laws that are on the books as it is so how will their new food bill be any different when the grocery chains are raking in the cash even more year over year

  2. Be sure to thank your local Liberal or NDP member of parliament, because inflation is THEIR fault. THEY are the ones which supported the inflationary monetary policies of the Liberal-NDP federal government.

    1. Inflation is caused by central banks…. Politicians don’t print money. They get Lincoln’d or Kennedy’d for printing money…

    1. Tell me you’re uneducated without telling me you’re uneducated….

There is only one entity that literally makes money. It’s the Central Bank of Canada. Blame them for inflation. Corporations just earn money, they dont make it.

  3. With the amount of food we waste, especially at grocery stores (I used to work at Zehrs, and would throw out bushels of fruit every day because they didnt look ‘fresh’ enough) I’m almost certain the entire Canadian population could eat for free. This is is more price gouging by large grocery chains, than inflation, inflation is just a word used to create deception.

    1. Don’t forget Canada’s economic system, Corporatocracy_Kleptocracy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  4. Carbon taxes. Fuel going up .14 per litre April 1 Thanks to Turdeau. If the cost to ship and farm increases as a result of more taxes expect your food to continue to increase in price. It all has to be shipped and farmed. No batteries for those machines yet and won’t be for a long time. Trudeau has to go.

  5. Sure, you forgot to mention most items are now HALF the content and 30% more expensive, get a Guru to make the Math 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  6. Marijuana alkohol beer Tim Horton’s all very expensive after no money for food and bumming in food bank
