    1. @Haystack the island the it’s people don’t want to give up it’s family culture and independence to a country that doesn’t care about them unless This happens

  1. Just wanted to say I don’t know what you might be going through Or what situation you’re in right now but I no god is there for you and he loves you God bless everyone who came across dis

    1. Beware of those who profess devotion to god. their feigned piety is often the camouflage for their vileness and evil.

  2. Besides delivering 30 inches of rainwater on a territory who had rains for 15 days prior making the terrain saturated, this was chill. The main issue are landslides and flooding on zones people shouldn’t have built. Power is out as always but cellphone signal is coming back and yes, I chrrently live in the territory that said, the places where Fiona made landfall were more heavily affected.

    1. @la 400 because the people of the territory don’t prefer that option as has been shown in the voting polls but Congress continues to ignore the requests for statehood with some members actively supporting Independence and moving political pieces in DC to prevent it so.

  3. “With notable exception, the Latino community is more diverse and accepting than the African American community. Thats a fact.”

  4. As the Chair of the International Anti-Slavery Commission I send love and prayers, but importantly, support through Red Cross to the people of Puerto Rico. #PuertoRicoStrong

  5. Buena suerte to my Puerto Rican brothers and sisters. I hope the recovery from Fiona will go far better than that which followed Maria.

  6. I think if Frankie became the governor of Puerto Rico he’d find the money Congress promised the island making sure the electric grid was replaced correctly. I wish him and the people of Puerto Rico well..

  7. We have to ensure this time that any money or financial aid given to people on the island does not end up in the pockets of the corrupt political class like happened the last time a strong hurricane hit the island. We need to ensure that needed items such as food and water are distributed to the people and does not end up being hoarded by the corrupt political class in airplane hangers and warehouses like the last time.

  8. Have we crossed the point of no return in terms of damaging the planet? There is no such point. We need to trust that our thought, which is our greatest quality, can change nature. We only need to understand the direction to which we should aim our thoughts. What should we think about? What condition or state should we aspire to and ask for?
In order to save our planet, we should think about positive human connections. That is, how can we, in our connections, keep nature safe? How can we all together protect our world? If we truly wish to better our planet, then we should see people holding a concern for how to positively connect everywhere that we look.
It has nothing to do with recycling or other activities that we commonly associate with as being sustainable. If we come closer to and consider each other, that we will reach an entirely organic, perfectly connected and round state, then the negative forces will disappear from the world.
We need to understand that if we start thinking better about each other, then the planet will recover from all harm, because our thoughts are the strongest force in nature. Likewise, our negative thoughts about each other are entirely to blame for damaging the planet. That is why the more we recycle and invest in energies and activities that we commonly think of as being sustainable, the worse our planet becomes. Nothing will work to benefit us until we reach a state where our attitude changes toward each other for the better to protect and improve our planet.

  9. Well I live in the west side of Puerto Rico finally to day I could use my T Mobile hot spot from my cell phone to write a few words. Hurracane Fiona was not so strong as Huracaine Maria, but yes it damage a lot of places in Puerto Rico due to large amounts of water that is the one that destroy and damage most everything, in special the electricity, road, Pueblos, Bridges Etc. Climate change arount the world would be more strong and lethal for all humans as long the world Oligrachs don’t help with their money to save the human specie. Climate change will be worse and all climate strike on humans also worse. The scientific beurea knows all about this. But the true knowledge of all of this are int the hands of most goverments and the Investors oligachs always looking for more money, frgetting always that climate change will harm everyone in the future. More and better engeneering is needed to build safe places and strong river bridges in all United States and theri territories, if a future want to be build…
