McConnell has made no attempt to even seem fair for the last five years, perhaps longer.

How smart can Mitch be he announced into the cameras that he would find Trump not guilty regardless of any other issue any evidence anyting that is presented not the finest work on the genius I believe Mitch lost his Edge between somewhere between the 7th and 13th chin.
If McConnell kurupts this trial that would be absolute definitive proof that he is so confident that the Russians have overrun the voting machines that he has allowed to be unprotected from them still and installing Republicans as winners despite votes rather than because of him is a cinch and we are in serious trouble.
Moscow Mitch cannot stop the truth from coming out. He can rush it all he wants but the truth will continue to come out.
This is the last chance for you to redeem yourselves, Republicans. If you turn this opportunity away then you’re responsible for what’s coming to you.
Are there legal repercussions for violating their oath? If so they need to be held accountable. They will be held accountable at the ballot box, but I’d love to see them imprisoned if they make a circus of this trial. And remember, the next time there’s an impeachment, Democrats have long memories and will make sure you are reminded..
