@Robert Malkin I think you need to do some research on dictators… also Trump has ALWAYS showed great admiration for dictators like Putin and Kim Jung Un… and disdain for democratic leaders (including US closest allies). This alone should have raised alarms.
@Deb C 1. Well he wants to use Military force (in a way that is actually illegal for him to), to deal with protesters that don’t need to be dealt with with such potentially deadly force. Again, its ILLEGAL for him to use the military this way, and something you only ever see Dictators do…
2. This after tweeting ”when the looting starts the shooting starts”. Which is not only a dictatorial call to violence but also not a legal thing for him to encourage. Again, only dictators do this.
3. He can do all these illegal things because he is now WELL above the law… which also only dictators can claim to be.
4. He is now well above the law because he replaced everyone in the white house with people who are woefully incompetent at the job they were hired for (think Betsy Devos)… but will do anything Trump tells them to. Something which ALL Dictators do.
5. He lies constantly about everything and anything he does is for his own financial benefit or that of his donors… absolutely nothing he does is for the American people (think tax cuts for the rich after tax cuts for the rich after tax cuts for the rich and on and on in only these past years…). `
6. Meanwhile he calls the world pandemic a hoax and downplays it for months until hundreds of thousands of American drop like flies for no reason besides Trump admin did absolutely nothing to stop it. AND he calls for people to go back to work and everything to open again when you guys are now the world epicenter of the disease and are months behind all other 1st world countries in dealing with it. Asking for the people to ”die for the stock market”, after letting things go so wrong that hundreds of thousands (if not eventually millions) of people will die needlessly… is also a very dictatorial thing.
Honestly I could go on and on, from his self-proclaimed LOVE of Kim Jung Un and him trusting Putin before his own (former) US security officials etc etc.

The governors are people just like the people who elected them. If there is a single person in any state, territory, or other place under the US jurisdiction… They should hold the same weight as being the governor of that area calling upon the President to deploy the military.
