@Kelvin Butler This might be true, we would have no way in knowing it. But we know that Affordable Care passed, we got the letter attributing our new downgraded yet more expensive coverage on the ACA, and we were left paying out of our own pockets for the doctor and expensive meds.
@Cornpop Productions I understand. Think about it like this. Obamacare is not free healthcare. Corporations carry it. Federal jobs carry it. Anyone with a job can get it, but those working people still pay for it. You have some poor people that get it but most still must pay some form of premium. Any money insurance companies lost was replaced by the multitude of people now paying for insurance. When economy is booming, more people are working so there you have it. The problem? Insurance companies don’t want to pay pre existing conditions, they would rather you just die already. So they raised premiums to cover this loss. They would have still made profit either way, (which is obvious now because there was no major collapse in the insurance industry like they tried to scare us about) but they did not want to give any money up. Naturally insurance companies blamed Obama care, they can’t tell you that the truth. They would look bad. So they blame Obama care, so America will blame Obama care and therefore force government to stop it. Never trust 90% of corporations.
