    1. frank fernandes: only according to those who don’t follow up on his blabbering. I’ll take Johns Hopkins data and Swedish non-lockdowns any day over Fauci foolishness.

  1. What a jerk. It was intentional, very annoying and most irresponsible. Those who voted him have been taken as utter fools

    1. More hypocrisy from the Republicans.
“New York has the highest death rate in the world so they’re doing a horrible job.”
      And……
The US has one of the highest death rates in the world so we’re doing a ‘stellar’ job.”

    1. @Mikel DeHart Dude it’s on video BARR did compare shutdown to Slavery. When will you people stop lying to yourselves?

    2. @Jessica Marsteller I watched that video and most definitely did not compare anything to slavery. Its clear YOU didn’t watch that video.

    3. Thinking politicians of any party care about the people on whatever side is NONSENSE and the definition of insanity, but people still put their energy into it

    1. @Liam Yup, ! And they got the entire world to play along! LOL! And it’s kinda funny that nearly every Republican alive has blamed tens of thousands of COVID deaths on Governor Cuomo by sending them to nursing homes! So which is it! A hoax or… Did all those people suddenly die of conditions they had been living with for decades? Can’t have it both ways!!

    2. @Liam And the the number of people in hospitals now is low because the protocols that have been put in place, have been remarkably effective! And is the reason that the positivity rate of test are now less than 1%!!!!

    3. @rellimarual Fine, but what I said was correct. I named the states with the _highest death rates,_ since Paul made the erroneous claim that New York had the “highest death rate in the world”. Neither Paul nor I said anything about the fastest _growing_ death rates.

    1. Anybody who follows Donald Trump’s lead has just conceded any moral authority.
Let’s hope most Repuppet elected officials contract COVID-19. Poetic justice.

    1. Dennis Brooks and don’t forget no screening on the massive amount of peeps came back all at once from places with massive amounts of virus at the time.

    1. “I don’t think science knows” sounds like a dunce who failed 8th grade science class and is still bitter about it

  2. Sen Paul wants everyone to think he’s unique – some kind of maverick, but he’s all schtick, just a dancing bear

  3. Fauci is spot on, he’s undermined by the current administration and a president who has 200,000 counts of negligent homicide on his rap sheet.

    1. @D T Intriguing article in the BMJ. Thank you for sharing it. If you read it in it’s entirety, there is really no solid proof that T cell reactivity really equates with immunity where coronavirus is concerned.
Per the author: “The immunologists I spoke to agreed that T cells could be a key factor that explains why places like New York, London, and Stockholm seem to have experienced a wave of infections and no subsequent resurgence. This would be because protective levels of immunity, not measurable through serology alone but instead the result of a combination of pre-existing and newly formed immune responses, could now exist in the population, preventing an epidemic rise in new infections.

But they were all quick to note that this is speculation. Formally, the clinical implications of the pre-existing T cell reactivity remain an open question. “People say you don’t have proof, and they’re right,” says Buggert”

So it’s a bit of an over-reach to call Dr. Fauci “wrong”. Suffice it to say more research is needed in this area, particularly to see if T cell reactivity for this virus confers at least some immunity or protection against more severe forms of the infection. Until that is known, antibody titers are our best measure of conferred immunity . . . and I think it’s hard to contradict that.

    2. @Roberto when you BEA//ERS have nothing else to point out you point out clear iPhone typos lol that’s all???

  4. I can’t believe America prides itself being world leader of everything yet. I see more ignorant, and stupid senators like Rand Paul ironic.

    1. It’s not about intellifence but what’s more profitable. Work hard a do the right thing. Or play dumb and steal as much as you want, or stomp on others. I mean if you don’t then you’ll regret it later when someone else takes that chance.

In fewer words. Short term gain > long term gain.

  5. He is a Libertarian, he doesnt know any better, his ideology is everyone fend for themselves, he cant even get along with his neighbor at home

    1. Half the things Libertarians believe in have been shown to be off the mark like markets policing themselves, and open borders. Some advocate legalizing hard drugs.

    2. He is only a Libertarian for others. He is very much a socialist when it comes to receiving government money for himself or his state. (money mostly from the hated states of CA and NY
