  1. There’s a Florida pastor that has a machine that actively sterilises everything in a room and if you sneeze it searches out and destroys all the spirit molecules coming out your nose. Even sterilises the money you put in the collection plate.

    1. @Cristian Aragon I heard that you would have to drink hot fluids to flush down the virus and let your stomach acid kill it. Can’t confirm if it’s true, though.

    1. HAWKWIND eeeeeeewwwwww yeah those are always the worse I hate touching gas pumps bring wet wipes or a napkin with you when you need gas

    2. +HAWKWIND
That’s a very good point. I didn’t even think about the gas pumps. Those pump handles are like petri-dishes for all kinds of viruses and microbes. I will put a pack of single use plastic gloves in my car. I’ll wear a pair, every time I need to pump gas in my car, then throw them away.

  2. Look at all the Trumpsters who hate CNN faithfully watch and comment on every single video. 🤔😂

    1. @Mark Dice lol donny is a super obvious criminal, and you are stuck in a shitty cult. Fucking idiot.

    2. Pak De it’s a fact! You are special for noticing this. I noticed it too very recently, and it’s getting very serious now.

    3. None of this is helpful to our country right now guys. The original post does nothing but antagonize and attack and if you are being honest with yourself, the responses are exactly what you wanted. In other words, in a time of national peril, when around a thousand lives a day are being lost, you offer nothing but a trolling comment. Not prayers to our fellow citizens, not encouragement or advice, just good ole trolling for comments, and you got it. Hope that makes you feel better. I am no Trump supporter, to be sure, but even I think this was petty. This is what Russia wants, they want us divided and to be so divided at such a vulnerable time is pretty dangerous. Let’s come together people. We all have families, jobs, friends, lives in peril right now. We gotta pull together for the greater good. Let’s defeat this enemy first, and settle our differences later. The time for hate is over.

    4. Benjamin Navarro 👈🏻 you’re thanking CNN for ‘real’ news? They lied for three years to you and said Trump colluded with Russia. They lied and said Jussie Smollett was attacked by Trump supporters. They lied about the Covington kids harassing that Indian.
They lied and said Trump had no path to electoral college victory. They lied and said if Trump is elected the economy will crash & stock market will be destroyed by his POLICIES …. (not a virus)

And recently they just lied and said Trump called the coronavirus a hoax when he called the Democrats ‘politicizing’ that Coronavirus was ‘their new hoax.’

You’re going to stay brainwashed forever?

    5. Patrick Bullard @Patrick can you name trumps crimes? How come there were no crimes listed in the fake articles of impeachment Nancy sent over? You just lied again and you are fake news.

    1. Sky Blylevin if you didn’t know that you had to wipe down your groceries or take them out of the box immediately when you got home, there is something truly wrong with you. It’s like washing your hand in a public bathroom and opening the door with your bare hands. Where is the logic with the general population?

    2. I live in Indonesia and I’ve been wiping down groceries and anything else from outside since early March. We’ve also been wearing masks since January. In Bali where before shutting down international travel from China we had tens of thousands of Chinese tourists each month with a surge at the Chinese new year but we only have two confirmed deaths, both older foreigners with severe health problems. None of the people known to have had contact with them have tested positive. You guys in the West came late to the realization that rich don’t mean jack to this virus and are dying because of it. Also, we figured out you don’t need a store bought surgical mask and lots of moms are making money sewing hospital gowns and masks for personal use that are washable and a lot more comfortable.

  3. I’ve been bleach watering my groceries since the beginning of March and wearing gloves & a mask while I do it. I’ve got my 72 year old mother living with me and she has lung problems & I have underlying health conditions, so I’m not taking any chances. I’ve also been wearing a mask and I’ll keep on wearing one. Good luck to everyone!

    1. @JesusRocks 1 There are videos here on YouTube that show how and I’m just going to follow one of them. I’ve been using a cheapie mask from the automotive section at Walmart that I’ve lined with regular gauze & antibacterial gauze, but I need to make a better one. Here’s one if you are able to sew: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FB–BOyTiU And no sewing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xN0HH2Zb2hY (I haven’t watched the no sewing one, but just search it here on YT) <3

    2. @Tammi MacClennan Heupel: You sound proud of yourself for having severe OCD. How bizarre! You are being MANIPULATED. Since last October, up to 65 thousand Americans died from the flu, according to the CDC. And the hospitalizations are as many as 700K. Covid hasn’t even touched those numbers. It was done by design to crash Trump’s economy, which is evil whether you support him or not. And right on cue, people like you fell for the programming and did as you were told like a good little sheep.

    1. Any rubbing alcohol of 60% or higher is fine too. Purell has an alcohol count of 65% (as a reference).

WHO also released a diy version of purrell using alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and glycerine.

Not mentioned here… you could tape items with masking tape to establish areas that are acceptable to touch.

You could also let the pantry items just sit untouched for ten days.

To be safe, I also favor grocery items that I have to cook or nuke (since the heat will kill the germs).

Probably never hurts to also start devloping a wash hands habit before eating anyway.

When in doubt, wash you hands or spray them with rubbing alcohol from a spray bottle.

    2. @Mister Sarajevo While that is true, it is also very easy to use cleaning supplies around the house to do this, so there’s no need to be like the crazy people and run out and buy products. Chances are, you have everything you’d need at home

    3. I use alcohol.. Pour some whiskey or scotch, take a tissue dip it in the alcohol and start cleaning.. And if my chance any viruses still make it in my body, I drink alcohol in the night to kill them too 😜

    4. @Pak De Exactly. We’re always told to always wash our hands frequently with soap and warm water. I figure soap and warm water will work for cleaning, too. Fortunately, I have wipes and disinfectants and alcohol if I want to be more thorough.

  4. I was just thinking of this today, and I can’t for the life of me understand how exposing your throat to this virus by swallowing contaminated food wouldn’t potentially infect you; your mouth and throat are inches away from your windpipe. It isn’t foodborne in the sense that it will infect your digestive tract via the food, obviously, but this possibility of infection is why I buy grapes in the hard plastic container–no customers sampling out of it!

    1. Just like they said it wasn’t airborne however, it is aerosol a.k.a. airborne, up to three hours so I’m sure they’re going to change their guidelines on food just like they did with their “airborne“ rumors, that ended up being true. How can it not make sense, same thing with the masks, if everybody in healthcare is wearing a mask to protect themselves and others, why wouldn’t it make sense, for the American public and the public all over the world, to wear masks? Because they were trying to keep them for healthcare workers. Which I totally understand and which case like they’ve done now, they could have told the public to use a bandanna, create your own from home, any bit of protection is better than no protection at all… we’re supposed to cough into our elbow, well coughing into your elbow with a bandanna on is twice as much protection than without one on, so it is minimal protection, but it is still some… and I do think it is vital.

  5. Are y’all ready for Medicare for all yet? Or are you still too busy screaming,

“SOCIALISM SOCIALISM SOCIALISM SOCIALISM SOCIALISM SOCIALISM SOCIALISM!!!!!”

    1. @Anderson Cooper Goodie for you. Tell that to the millions of Americans that couldn’t afford health insurance or have to pay 3-10 times as much on prescription medication than countries like Canada. When your healthcare system forces you to decide whether to see a doctor for something based on if it’ll bankrupt you (not YOU you, we’re exercising empathy for others here) there’s something wrong.

    2. Anderson Cooper Nothing is perfect. I’m Canadian, you are right for getting an appointment with a specialist can be long. My girlfriend had a myocardial infarction, 3 blocked artery, she had to go under surgery. It cost nothing. We pay more income taxes though.

    3. Just Joshin’ 👈🏻 healthcare is unaffordable because Obama screwed it up. He promised premiums would go down and you would have better health insurance but the premiums tripled, and most states only have one provider.

The deductibles are thousands of dollars & the government run Obamacare insurance is horrible.

The insurance we had before Obama was light years ahead. And could’ve been improved under Trump.

Go to Canada, experience the joys of socialist healthcare. unqualified second rate doctors, understaffed, nine month wait times, while wealthy Canadians come over the border and get their medical care in the United States.

Now why would they do that? When they have that great government run socialist Canada healthcare?

    4. @Just Joshin’ The bankrupt can be dealt without ridding private insurance. It’s all about regulating what private insurance can do and cannot do to prevent such bankruptcies and overcharging costs like in many countries that regulate it and have no issues. Here in America private insurance have to much power to legally do such overcharges and this must stop.

    1. If you don’t have any cleaning supplies on hand, I can’t imagine how disgusting your home must be! 😉

    1. I wear gloves in the grocery store. Only go to stores that sanitize carts (Trader Joe’s). Even so, I try to keep my nondominant hand “clean.” I pick up groceries with my “dirty” hand and pay with my “clean” hand (using my phone). I put my groceries in my trunk and return the cart. Peel off and dispose of gloves. At my car, I disinfect my phone, keys, door handles—basically just use up the wipe. When I get home, I unbag, leaving the bag on the floor and wiping everything down (not with a balled-up useless wipe). I could get every square inch in half the time. And the used wipes go in a little pile on the floor—not on the counter. Then wipe down the counter. Wipe the floor where the bags were with the still damp pile of used wipes. Take bags to the recycle can and throw wipes in the trash. Wash hands and use a few more wipes to wipe down door handles and switch plates—anything you might’ve touched on your way in—then one final hand washing. From groceries in the door, it takes about 20 minutes and it gives me great peace of mind.

    1. @freeman239 No Im an independent that votes for my favorite candidate regardless of party. Nobody I have ever voted for ever won. sigh

    2. trump has had his head stuck in his arse since sworn in, only comes out to look in the mirror! He will be in jail after November with no presidential pardon from Bernie or Biden!!! America is over his lies, except for the trolls!!!

    3. @Benjamin Navarro they don’t throw Presdients in Jail , if they did they would all be in jail , except for maybe Jimmy Carter

  6. I had to grocery shop tonight, & even though it was less crowded, almost everyone around me did NOT care about how close they got to me, & others around them! It’s hard for us to back away from people, when the aisles are so narrow! It’s very frustrating, especially since I’m a very high-risk patient. Please people, keep your distance, out of respect for others! 😞

    1. Do they offer grocery pickup or delivery near you? That might be a good alternative. Good luck. Be well. 👍👍

    2. That’s crazy, here in Canada stores have lines on the ground inside and out spaced 6 feet apart and you have to stand on those. The stores only let a few people in at a time, you have to wait for someone to leave before you are allowed in as even giant stores are not allowed to have more than 50 inside at once. Most places have made the isles one way so people aren’t passing each other as much.

  7. Sure you’ve cleaned the food but your gloves are still dirty and you continue to touch the food to put it on “the clean side”

    1. Gloves should be clean with the food cleaning! He then shows you how to take off gloves in general! CNN has shown many good ideas and informs us correctly. Avoid (fox/trump) fake news!

  8. You shouldn’t be wearing gloves to begin with. Cross contamination. People subconsciously touch things.

  9. What a world we live in now. It took me 40min to wipe down my groceries and put it away. I’m Starting to get depressed.

  10. Wait.. if the virus gets on a your hand and you touch your mouth you can get sick, but if the virus is on your food and the food touches your mouth you can’t get sick?

  11. I don’t know about anyone else, but grocery shopping is nerve wracking. There’s too many idiots not following the 6 foot rule!

    STAY AWAY FROM ME, DAMMIT!
