I think all of you need to look at our stalking laws, I am pretty sure the tracking tools are illegal in Canada.
LOL you think they have to follow the same laws you do?
Tell that to Dear Leader Blackface…
Laws and police were not what protected me, it was being taught self protection by male friends that could not always be with me! Stop laughing over something that can lead to someone’s death!
@Vovin nuremberg 2
What can we do about it? Is there a way to block this on a cell phone? TIA
why am i not even slightly surprised
Forbid government, all agencies of government, and all creations of government (corporations) from doing this. Full stop.
What do you have to hide?
@D. Courteau none of your business how about that
@D. Courteau same phrase Germany used before Ww2
lol
Unfortunately there will be minor outrage for a few days maybe and nothing will change.
Nothing will change on the surface,, the purebloods show there’s a deep undercurrent

Use spyware to access rcmp mobile devices
Commercially available phones aren’t hardened against these types of methods.
Guaranteed this is happening more than we know.
Commercial phones have back doors for the intelligence community.
These devices are unfortunately becoming necessary in our lives but the relationship we have with them is insane.
We pay massively to own one, then they immediately harvest our data to sell from big tech, to the carriers, to now even our own government (Arrivecan for example). We pay a hell of a lot of money (among the most in the world) to have our privacy invaded. It’s crazy, it’s criminally genius, and it’s creepy.
Try living without one. It’s possible but increasingly more difficult.
Try locking it down to maintain your privacy. There are methods but it’s questionable how well they work and it’s no easy task.
Big brother and big tech are about as creepy as a feely uncle now… this is who we vote for and who we support.
Hahaha I’m still using a 12 yr old flip-phone with not one picture on it – no apps , I just use it as a phone and nothing else. Some how we all lived wonderfully life’s before the smart ( dumb cause it makes you dumb ) phone. I actually have one I phone , one Galaxy Phone given as gifts still in the box in the garage tool box never activated.
@Richard KL44357 that will get much, much harder with time. Look how it’s taken over so far. They will make it a requirement by having EVERYTHING on their eventually. They won’t force you, they’ll just make life nearly impossible and frustrating without one.
I am going back to flip phone, I can use my old ipod no probs….
They’ll shut down 3G soon here in Canada so they can keep n eye on the plebs
I guess this is why no one trusts rcmp?
My family in the states thought I was crazy when I was telling them how we’re being spied on through our phones here in Canada. I hate to say, “I told you so” but that’s where we are
Get better at” saying I told you so” and the liberalatics and progressgroomers around you and they begin to think deeper about the “newest thing”
you are crazy
You are not crazy. I experienced it myself. 🥲
I use a dumb flip phone. And if they access my tablet that I only use at home they’ll get bored pretty fast 😂 moral of the story never click links sent by email, dm, sms etc. Btw you all gave that access freely to social networking companies. They do listen to your mic, use you camera, access your contacts list and more yet you guys don’t care about that 🤣 The best advice would be to get off and delete all your social networking accounts. Use internet at home like the way it’s meant to be used. Be more present and actually be more social in public. All I see is zombies staring down at a screen EVERYWHERE I go.
I agree with you.
Just have a conversation next to the phone frequently mentioning ‘RCMP’ and ‘Sexual Harassment’. Fixed!
The rcmp is already admitted to using this without a warrant in certain cases. That’s scary
this has been going on since before 2006, even landlines were tapped since the 30s. I’m shocked this is not common knowledge.
Once you build the back door you cannot control who goes through.
Giggity
Again we’re losing our privacy and secrecy for some blurry “safety”.
We already know how communication security works, and end users authorize business contracts to use the service. Some citizens just don’t read or understand business contracts!
Great, so the force that can di whatever they want with no lasting repercussions is allowed access to the devices of citizens. What could go wrong?
There’s a version of this where it doesn’t require any interaction from the user, if they have your cell phone #, they can install it.
Folks access doesn’t just mean they can peak into your messages and images. They will also be able to embed incriminating files on your device. Imagine cops planting drugs on you but now they can plant things on your phone.
