So democrats cannot win by 1 vote, but republicans can lose by 3 million and still win? Sounds like a rigged system. Get rid of electoral college!
Wait a decade or so and republicans won’t have a route to 270. AZ, GA & TX accoun for 69 votes this decade. All 3 are moving out of the red column. Their margins get thinner every cycle. IA was won by Trump by a higher margin than those 3 states in 2016. Trump won big for a recent Republican, he had a cushion of 36 votes above 270. There’s no way for Republicans to make up for a loss of 69 votes even if you pretended every state they won in 2016 was red going forward.
It won’t be permanent but could change if Republicans reform and expand their base and wait for blue states to turn red. That would probably also take a decade or 2. The EC doesn’t permanently favour one party. It depends on demographic changes.

If he doesn’t, the new president will take over on 1-20-21 at 12pm, and he will become the new commander in chief. The day after the infamous photo op when that General apologized, was a very important day. Oh and by the way, the top brass in the military aren’t happy with Trump to begin with.

I am self employed. I have subcontractors for my court reporting firm, and I let the FFA practice with my herd for record keeping, farm management, and beef production.
I have about 200 head of cattle, no paid employees. (hobby, per se) but I’m DBAed for that so I claim it as a buisness since it could support me. I sell about 150 calves a year, and donate a few show calves when I can for the local show kids.
My break down is 37% of income, plus 15% SS, and 3% medicare.
I have subcontractors for court reporting firm, but same break down. I keep me and both buisness all separate.
So I get what you’re saying, and the “income taxes” you stated are technically correct. But there are other taxes too that bring it up.
And the Biden tax clearly states on his platform the tax hike for me. maybe I misread. I just know I will be in his bracket of a tax increase. He is adding additional 12.4% Old-Age, Survivors, (Social Security) income earned above 400k. And raising income tax to 40%.
So 15+12+40+3 plus regulations and fees would be 70% in taxes.
I have a great CPA, been with him for 20 years.
