@Mark G. He understands a lot more science than the average politician, but more importantly, he understands people and their financial motives. The global warming hoax was derived from the eugenics movements pushed by the Rockefellers and their cronies. Mind you that the Rockefellers were oil magnates (biggest in the world), but, even so, they cared more about controlling people than about profiting off oil (although they could obviously do both).

Well we should at the same time as this is horrible for those that has lost loved once and property be happy that there are hurricanes in general. Hurricanes is mother earths own way to cool down the global temp.
No, it doesn’t cool the global temperature. We’re in a vacuum, so we can only lose heat by radiation, which is why light bulbs doesn’t melt, and we’re currently reducing our ability to radiate heat by adding gases that absorbs the radiation.

@Dribrom Sunrock: Yes, that causes local cooling, by moving the heat somewhere else, but it doesn’t move the heat into space, which is the only way a planet gets cooler. When you eat an ice cream, you don’t cool the planet, right? 🙂

@Cartoonishly Inept The IPCC’s stated goals are to bring about social change through the use of a narrative supporting global warming. It is as far away from being a real scientific exploration as it could possibly be. They curate scientific papers, edit them through political and social panels, make scientists revise them, toss out unsupporting papers and blacklist those who submitted them, and then reedit the updated submissions through the political panels and then make policy recommendations that were predetermined before the scientific papers were even submitted.
The IPCC should definitely be tried for crimes against humanity.
Cartoonishly Inept As for scientific institutions – that is a dumb question … you should never put faith in any institution because institutions are just collections of people. Even the best institutions have some inept and/or corrupt individuals in their midst. My alma mater is MIT and while it is highly respected and I believe that most academics there are quite good, I do know that not all of them are. I’ll have to look and see what climate change papers have been published out of the institute and I hope there aren’t any/many that ptomote the climate change hoax, but you never know because many people are good with math and science but not good at understanding truth.

@Tessmage Tessera No, the MSM only reports that 97% of scientists agree on man made global warming. If you were serious about understanding the issue, you’d quickly realize that this is a made up statistic and that the narrative is all made up political hype with zero scientific basis.
The storm technically made it to what should be considered category 6. There will most definitely be more of these in the future.
I don’t know how the SSHWS is made, but 185mph sustained speed is 28mph higher than the lowest cat 5. The range in cat 4 is 26mph, which is the highest range. Considering we will see stronger storms in the future, I agree it would make sense to call this cat 6.
