I have a lot of respect for Pramila Jayapal, one of the leaders of the House Progressive Caucus. I started to notice her during the last presidential campaign. She was a Bernie supporter and surrogate, and she spoke at several of his rallies. Then I saw her interviewed several times, and she was always on point. She is one to watch, and she is fierce. If she helped hold the progressives in the House together to pass this bill, good on her. She did a good thing for a lot of people who need the help.
@Gabe Dudley Jayapal has been one of the leaders in the House working to raise the minimum wage to $15/hour. There was probably some vote that you’re trying to now make into something it’s not. Don’t bother. Her record on supporting a higher minimum wage is clear.
