  1. Our drs aren’t even testing for the flu. Give Pearl cough pills. Inhalers. Oh it’s the flu. No tests. What?

    1. All over call Dr because you have all the symptoms…”its just a cold going around” no tests available, if you pressure you’re told only place available in Oregon is Salem the capital, oh everyone feeling ill is gona run to Salem!

    2. No tests keeps the numbers from going up for those who don’t want it to be known because of the stock markets.

    3. Why are you getting tested? YOU HAVE THE SYMPTOMS? The Drs said a million times. Take your temperature twice a day if no temp
, cough, pain you do NOT have the virus. Uh

    1. Makes zero sense to hoard. In every instance of the virus outbreak in other countries the one constant is pharmacies and supermarkets stay open. The only thing you are doing by panic buying is potentially harming one of your neighbours. We did a regular shop last night. Got what we normally get. There were two tins of baby powder left. We bought one knowing that if we bought two we could potentially be harming the next person behind us in the exact same situation. Don’t be weak. Look out for others. Shops will stay open and are only running out of things because of weak individuals panicking.

    2. @Cynthia Kōhler there was one guy they interview who has the virus does have some diarrhea. I think thats why ppl panic. Most dont have it

    3. peanut butter is gone, lysol is gone, soups and canned meats gone, frozen veg.gone….it’s getting a little too real. And this is all in suburban Connecticut.

    4. The fact that it’s TP is just ridiculous. We’ve survived centuries, most of history, without TP. _”Oh no, what will I do a week without TP if I run out during self-quarantine.”_ You clean yourself in the shower or use a wascloth or something. It’s not radioactive waste. 🙄First world problems here.

    1. Matt Williams
I would NOT RECOMMEND waiting till 104.
If temp goes above 102.5, I would recommend fever lowering med. At 104, IF with meds, and temp NOT gowing down, you are in a crisis situation requiring, honestly, an AMBULANCE.
But you do NOT want to KEEP fever down to normal and be taking Tylenol when T=101. You want to let the body put up the natural defense=some fever. 🙏😇♥️

    2. if hospitals are overloaded… then a cool (or ice?) bath ???   I’m being led to believe that (some) fever is a “healthy” response to the invasion… but yeah, don’t wanna cook the brain to save the body !   😮  “the operation was a success….though the patient died.”   😉

    3. From the website emedicinehealth (WebMD): “Low-grade fevers range from about 100 F-101 F; 102 F is intermediate grade for adults but a temperature at which adults should seek medical care for an infant (0-6 months). High-grade fevers range from about 103 F-104 F. Dangerous temperatures are high-grade fevers that range from over 104 F-107 F or higher (extremely high fevers are also termed hyperpyrexia).”

From Mayo Clinic: “For an adult, a fever may be uncomfortable, but usually isn’t a cause for concern unless it reaches 103 F (39.4 C) or higher.”

    1. @K Reyn good luck my brother i wish you the best ..its hard being responsible for others and not being able to work our government says stay home like yea i wish i could stay home and chill but i can’t it’s easy for rich people or people who are in the upper middle class but when you make under 30 gs a year and have other people you have to take care of its hard …i haven’t bought a pair of shoes in 2 years now been wearing the same sneakers and i haven’t bought clothes in about 4 yrs i only buy underwear and socks for obvious reasons

    2. @anne-marie Andrews i already work 7 days a week but maybe my week can get longer and I’ll see if i can do more hours…wish i could work my 7 days now nobody wants to ride uber at the moment

    3. We all are, or at least the 99%. Andrew Yangs UBI would have helped at moments like this in history with universal medical care….

  2. We were told that because we had diarrhea we didn’t qualify to be tested… lol We are still self quarantined because MN health care doesn’t know what’s its doing…

    1. You sure can have diarrhea. I just watched a Dr.s Interview that had contracted the virus and he said he had diarrhea.

    2. @Betty Blackburn

talk about conflict of interests just think we could’ve been listening to Biden instead of Trump. We’ll still be having havoc across the country.

  3. If Walmart, Google, and CVS take care of the homeless people living in the sewers underneath Las Vegas and help struggling Medicaid patients, that would be great. Instead, they’re using the coronavirus as an excuse to get government money like it’s socialism for big corporations.

    1. @BE NICE This man justified his xenophobia with that fact that he’s French… No wonder this virus exists.

  4. No test kits so how would you know? 3rd world countries have kits but we don’t things that make you say humm🤔

    1. @Heny Laureano They were weeks ago on mask by 3M in either North or South Dakota and first going to hospitals. He called in many pharmaceutical companies for a meeting and gave them the goal and target weeks ago as well. Keep up, Dude.
This all has been going on since February 1st!!! Just now announcing it.

    2. @William B I want a compound or bunker! I have a former boss and his family bought an underground silo in Iowa (I think) and it sounded very nice. They worked on it for several years. Wish I had kept in touch with them…… You are smart and lucky. Kudos to your sons! Be safe my, Friend.

    3. @Florida Island Girl thanks hope you stay safe don’t be trusting of your friends look out for your self ,i know that sounds selfish but most people are selfish when it comes to a crisis but some friends will stick with you those are keepers but you know who you can trust, please be safe Florida Girl ….

    4. Blame it on the CDC and the FDA.
And their restrictions. Thank to Trump we getting them faster. but I’m not worry. They making a big deal just to hurt the economy. Be careful and pay close attention to what you do. This is not worst than H1N1

    1. Wouldn’t matter, there’s a massive shortage of chemicals needed for extraction to actually run the tests. So setting up drive-thrus all over the place is meaningless, if all those swabs are just going to sit in a lab not getting run because there’s no resources for it. In that situation they’d still only want to test high-risk individuals.
Places like South Korea can do their mass testing because they pre-empted the epidemic and stocked up on the testing chemicals in time. The US (read: Trump) hasn’t.

  5. Finally someone talking about the disconnect between what we know we need to do and what they’re telling us

    1. @Lindsay Ware
You lost me with the whole “said in jest” thing.
A Christmas Carol… oh, I get it now.
You were referring to your previous comment, right?
You are seeing my thought process in real time.
      Weird, huh?

  6. The lack of solid direction and answers to the public is astounding. Elections has consequences. When will America learn?

    1. Yep! Hillary Clinton would have cured Coronavirus & cancer. How much you wanna bet she could throw a football over them mountains? Coach would have put her in, they’d take state!

  7. Not testing people means they have no idea how many people really have it. All of the videos are conflicting. One Dr on 20/20 said seek help if your fever is over 100.8. This woman says 104. Goodness. Knowing you have it means you can warn others , let work know, etc.

    1. Mostly no. They don’t have enough kits. I bet in some areas they don’t have any. They’re not going to waste test kits on civilians. Besides what’s the point when they don’t have a cure right now.

    1. Zach Davis , testing someone who has the virus does nothing but says you have it. There is no medicine, no anti-vitals can help, there is no vaccine. If you get really sick they treat the symptoms, fever , cough, expectoration, respiration if needed. Testing you if your imunocomprimised might be useful for observation and “prompt” care , but testing only let’s you no to stay away from people who could easily get sick, compromised or elderly . If your tested and got it 98% chance you won’t die.
But you go around demanding the sky is falling, insisting we build a data base world wide of people who catch it, or maybe hospitalize, or institutionalize them.
If you get sick stay away from others, if your afraid of flu stay away from others. Demanding “the government “ provide you with a test that takes time, just so you know ?

    2. @Troll Watch ; not in a cult don’t have a leader, but I can see you hate the guy. And you don’t think he acted fast enough, and now as he’s wasting 80 billion to test people for a virus that isn’t curable or need a cure, and vaccines that can be used 2 years from now (cause that’s how long it takes) – you still won’t be happy, in two months when everyone says Trump saved the world by insisting panic , your evil plan will have back fired.

    1. @Ro G – Feel free to use any I post…
      it’s not about me…
      it’s about what’s right…
and about the truth of the message…

    2. This reality start has done better than the coward we had there for 8 years and did nothing. I have never seen a President that acted faster than him.he is the best businessman in the world, you just an imbecile dumb as AOC

    1. True…but Trump owns it so he will never say that…if Obama or a Democrat owned it he would have been singing that over and over…he is a jack@ss of a prez…’this is a hoax and it will go away in the Spring’

  8. …and how many tens of millions Americans have no medical coverage or doctor to call? Ditto the rest of the world ?

    1. In most countries we receive free medical care. America is unique in that millions don’t have that luxury. I’m reassured that I can be tested and have the results within a couple of hours.

  9. There aren’t even enough tests. I live in south Florida and they’ve ordered 2500 kits with Broward county as the priority. 2500 is a drop in the bucket!
