  1. Feeling this. I literally can’t stop eating sometimes even when I don’t want to.

But I have to say all this video has done is make me crave a burger.

    1. I gotta be honest, burgers are the one food I just cant seem to shake. I stopped fries but burgers just call me.

    2. @August Blue i have put down the burgers longer than that and that picture made my mouth water. They got me…it just a matter of time until i break down a buy one and large frys.

    3. I have not eaten fast food since 2014. I have lost 71 lbs and never gained it back. I am off my diabetes and cholesterol medication since 2015. My nagging lower back pain has disappeared as has my nasty IBSD.
It was not even difficult. You need focus and you need to be honest with yourself.

  2. Since I’ve been watching more TV than usual over the past year, I’ve really noticed the constant bombardment of ads for fast food and “junk” food. No wonder we have obesity as a major public health problem in the US. For me, I have to say the ads have really turned me off those foods if only because I became so aware of them and got tired of them.

    1. Yeah, I started recording tv shows so I could fast forward through the commercials lol. But I got rid of cable and satellite a few years ago.

    2. The sad thing is that we have been exporting our obesity problem world wide. The US may still have the most , but we are far from the only, and many countries are sadly catching up.

    3. if you havent watched it watch a video how they make fast food look so good in comercials. the worst is they replace whipcream with shaving creme.

    1. Theres a great youtube video where a person buys food from a few fast food restaurants, and a few upscale restaurants. This person leaves the food out to decay. McDonalds french fries never changed. I think the Carl’s Jr. burger turned blue, green, and orange sludge.

  3. We are programmed to crave salts and sugars. We switched from sugar to honey and it’s been amazing. Anyhow, it’s not just a matter of personal responsibility. If you are poor or low income it is incredibly difficult to eat healthier–it’s just not affordable which is really sad. If you are on a low income you are focused on bulk vs quality. Poverty is a killer. If you can switch to honey from white processed sugar you will probably lose 5 to 10lbs within a couple of weeks and feel a whole lot better too…but it’s 3 to 4x more expensive.

    1. interesting that a few month ago a court in Ireland ruled that the buns used by Subway must not be called bread as they contain too much sugar !

  4. It’s about time they talk about this!!! The Food Giants, Big Agribusiness and Big Pharma are in bed with each other. Keeping it in the family, making sure they get rich off the uninformed public. The list of Elite, money-making, big-business, inbreeding is huge!

  5. The carbaddictiondoc on youtube has said this for years. Of course these corporations exploit human addictive behaviors. Moss is correct that sugars & starches are incredibly addictive, but wrong about fats & salts. It’s the carbs that are the problem.

  6. We can all thank Nestle and General Mills for this. When women jumped into the workforce during the 50s, they figured they would capitalize on a women’s tiredness from working, parenting, cleaning, etc… and create processed foods that were easier to make than the stuff that was made from scratch. The kids loved it and there was an immediate spike in processed foods across the country. Today, they are still making a fortune off of us. I always wonder how these foods play a role in all the different cancers we’ve seen over the decades.

  7. I can tell you from experience. When I was drinking, I would have my wife hold dinner so I could finish off a bag of Doritos before dinner.

  8. I don’t know how the United States can continue to claim to be “the greatest nation in the world”. Who does that to its citizens?

    1. @Maga Reducation actually they should’ve stayed home and been considerate of my life. Your getting that backwards. wake up

    2. @E B earth does not revolve around you. Wearing a mask is the best course of action. Tell your therapist the mean old world had me put a mask on in a pandemic. See what the response is.

    3. @Maga Reducation not really, if everyone high risk stayed in quarantine they would be safe. You are aware of this right ?

    4. Does what? The manufacturers make more of whats in demand. If people quite buying certain things they will discontinue making them.

  9. Strange, I go to the cereal aisle for a scavenger hunt to find the two cold cereals with no added sugar.
FYI, its shredded wheat (not frosted) and Grape Nuts (aka Crunchy Nuggets). All the rest have added sugar.

  10. Tell Americans to eat veggies and fruit and they will yell that you want to take away their freedom.

  11. Tim Hortons coffee (“Double Double”) in Canada is a prime example. Currently they are marketing a Post branded cereal. Tim Hortons Cafe’ Mocha coffee flavoured cereal. Current tv marketing is targeting the female “teenie” crowd and their moms for breakfast. Very predatory. A 36 gram serving has 17 grams of sugar and 32 grams of carbohydrates. So one bowl contains about two double double coffee’s worth of sugar.

  12. Tell us something the entire
    universe didn’t know already!
    🍔🍟🌭🍗🥩🥓🍕🌮🍰!👏

  13. interesting that a few month ago a court in Ireland ruled that the buns used by Subway must not be called bread as they contain too much sugar !

  14. He’s comparing a subjective “sense” of sugar hitting the brain to actual facts about when alcohol physically reaches the brain. He’s answering questions more with his hands than any particular information.
I have no doubt these foods are problematic, but this is not data, this is not truth, this is the intellectual equivalent of fast food itself.
