Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit
Roseau, Dominica – Monday, March 16, 2015 – Prime Minister the Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit is in Grenada to deliver the inaugural “March 13th Lecture”. The Grenada Revolution Memorial Foundation Inc (GREMFO) has organized what is intended to be an annual lecture series to mark the “anniversary of the advent of the Grenada Revolution.”
Prime Minister Skerrit will speak on the topic “The Grenada Revolution, Foreign Policy and Development of Small Island States in the Present International Environment”. According to the organizers “the Grenada Revolution during its short reign was well known among OECS countries for its pioneering role in foreign policy”.
GREMFO has described Prime Minister Skerrit as being uniquely qualified to present the inaugural lecture given “the leadership role that you are playing in identifying and utilising foreign policy as an instrument of national development.”
Minister for Planning, Economic Development and Investments Honourable Dr John Collin McIntyre will act as Prime Minister while Prime Minister Skerrit is out of state.
