Chris Dupree , I think that people are just so frustrated with all the craziness that they are saying what they would like to happen. But some things just can’t be done. When I have questions that I don’t know the answer to I Google my question and it helps me understand. I don’t like what I find out sometimes but I understand.

@taz 9 If the voting rights bill gets on the reconciliation package the voters that always win the popular majority will be heard the 7,000,000 disenfranchised by gerrymandering and voter suppression. FL 2000 saw the governor purge 125,000 Democratic registrations without notifying the voters so they could re-register. They were given provisional ballots that are usually not counted. I know, I voted absentee for FL-22 and my 2004, 2008 ballots were not counted, and 2000 had SCOTUS denying all FL votes because they were for Gore as the recount showed.
@dlee t I believe it. In the state where I live, we voted on a bill that was against puppy mills and the way they operate. It passed by voters. The next thing I knew, the governor had overturned the bill trying to hide it so that voters didn’t learn about it. I think Republicans are already overturning votes. The voters just haven’t found out yet.
@dlee t I remember the “brooks brothers riot” during the Florida recount between Bush and Gore. They burst in on the counters and so the counting was stopped. Our country’s plague (who dresses like a cartoon villain) Roger Stone had a hand in that.

The act contains numerous provisions that regulate elections. The act’s “general provisions” provide nationwide protections for voting rights. An independent redistricting commission will have nil effect if their policies are up to it.
If the Supreme Court is not acting in the interest of the majority and promoting democracy then passive adherence to undemocratic practices needs to be acted on in non passive ways. Republicans cheat and lie for power. A non passive force needs to be applied back.

McConnell has already packed the court and he is a evil man along with so many of the Republican party. I can hardly wait until the investigation is over for the insurrection. Then we will know exactly the ones who did what and they can all start being arrested for their parts in the treasonous acts and going against everything that their oath stands for and they broke their oaths a long time ago. Each and every one of them should be investigated individually because if they would help with this Treasonous act I believe that they have done so much more that has not come to light yet!
