If push comes to shove republicunts themselves will impeach trump just so they can look like heroes and gain extra votes. No shame these people.
They resisted Impeaching Nixon until things got to about the point we are now with Trump. Republicans will spend their entire time in office finding any reason they can to impeach a Democrat President while they go out of their way, change laws, and betray country to protect Republican presidents.
They have always put Party over Country. Republicans don’t represent America or Americans. It’s time to vote for the American Party, vote Blue.
@ruth depew I grew up in a Conservative family. When I was younger, I used to take offense at the saying from the 70’s.
“An educated Republican is a Democrat”.
It used to offend me then, it’s never been proven more valid than at this point in History. We now have Demographics maps showing that our least educated tend to lean Right, while those with educations almost always lean Left.
The biggest shocker of my adult life, is that only 6% of educated professionals identify as Republican. Most of that 6% are politicians. It took a few years to realize everything, but it’s clear now. Republicans with any form of education lead the party and mislead our least educated into voting against their own interests to support the Republicans.
Republicans always take from Americans, but they rarely ever give anything back.

@Q Wins Mueller’s report did not say he was guilty of anything _only_ because it’s, by DoJ policy, that the president can’t be charged. What he did say though was that the Trump campaign made numerous efforts to collude with the Russians and it seems the only reason it never happened was that the Russians were too smart to deal with the campaign directly. Seems like it worked out well because Trump is knee deep in manure and their efforts can’t be tied directly to the Russian government. Check out a Russian organization called Wagner, the attack on the election was probably organized the same way.
As for the second part of the report, Mueller said that evidence shows that Trump was personally responsible for at least three definite cases of obstruction of justice and probably seven more.
In summary, your assertion is an outright lie, the only thing that happened is that he wasn’t proven guilty, yet! Think OJ Simpson, I’ll bet you understand how it worked with him, was he innocent or just not guilty?

If we take the Senate, Democrats need to push for limitations to presidential power and overhaul the system so Trump doesn’t happen again starting with a sitting president can be indicted.
add in abolishment of the electoral college and it could just work.
I would like to see the DOJ removed from the president’s control. Make it fully independent and non-partisan as it should be. Create a Constitutional Amendment explicitly granting the DOJ authority to indict any public official, with statute of limitations on crimes committed by the President and Vice President suspended until they leave office, with the trial commencing after a successful impeachment or the expiration of their terms.
Next, I would add a requirement that any bill which is approved by one chamber of Congress shall receive an automatic floor vote in the other chamber within 90 days. The Senate Majority leader will no longer be able to blockade all House bills he doesn’t like.
And abolish gerrymandering. And anything Trump has done in his fake presidency.
