You think this is the only industry this will affect. What about the shipping of products all over the United States?

Do you get to charge your vehicle for free as an Uber/Lyft driver? I’d love to know how the charging costs and the eventual battery replacement charges (if it doesn’t spontaneously combust first) and how they compare to ice vehicles in the same time frame.
Maybe corporate could consider taking less of a percentage from the drivers hard earned money. That might help a bit.
How about if the gas companies were a little less greedy?

@mrbear1302 no, I think Lyft and Uber taking roughly 50% of their drivers earnings is absolutely outrageous. I also think, just like you, that if the gas companies were a little less greedy, that would help too.
It is the fault of Shell, Mobile and other oil companies. They profited over $70 Billion last quarter. There are nine field they can dig in and choose not to but charge higher prices.
Yet yes The USA should do what they have to Russia along with allies. As well they still should be taking care of all Americans in need.

@TRANSPORT MAN i did uber and lyft for short period and i will never do it again. The consume time, effort , gas , cars mechanical issues while they take unfair half or more than half of the money.

I’m an Uber driver and it’s funny how Ubers portion of the profits doesn’t get affected. Only the driver gets screwed. Maybe Uber should rethink what they pay the driver before there are no drivers left
