    1. @Im wrong But listen Well maybe so. But the problem is that it puts the rest of the neighborhood in grave danger.

    2. @MidnightExpressMC I’m willing to take that risk. I think Biden only won because normal Republicans voted for him because of trump.
I also think trump is destroying the Republican party better than and Democrat could.
For that reason I’m trump 2024 and hang mike pence. I support the idiot’s ruining the party.

  1. How can Paul Ryan talk about fiscal responsibility? When he decided with a few others to give all that tax breaks decreasing USA revenue and reducing the cash we needed.

    1. @born2bWildNE Your Jesus is different than mine. You either have faith in the whole Bible or none of it. Gods word is a lot more than a few verses you pick out and like. Loving your neighbor is telling them the truth that if they die in their sins they go to hell. My faith taught me all of His words, not just some.
Revelation 21:8 KJV But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Mark 16:15 KJV And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:15 was Jesus telling people what they should do.
2 Timothy 4:2 KJV Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

    2. Paul Ryan now sits on the board of FOX news. This is the most dangerous organization on earth right now. They are constantly lying and manipulating people. The results of their UNEMPATHETIC PSYCHOPATH terrorist organization, are constant deaths. Q nightclub, January 6th, Buffalo, Heather Hyer, etc. We didn’t call Osama a “stochastic terrorist”, just because he didn’t fly the plane. Same is true with Fox and the entire Republican party.

  2. Funny how sensible and civil Reps can be when they’re not worried about preserving their power and when they’re pushing books intended for the middle. 😮

    1. Thank you for this, I get so confused when I find a former GOP member to be so …agreeable? Professional? He did not reflect these ideals well when he was Speaker. It’s like night and day.

  3. Oh god… when Paul Ryan makes sense it really shows just how much politics has degraded since Trump. 😱

    1. @THE REVIEW If a person changed, then they are not being a hypocrite and will let you know that they changed their views. You’re high as a kite if you think he has changed the positions that he has held for a lifetime in just four years. Make sure you buy his book, lol

    2. But it was Paul Ryan’s botched politics that proved that The Republicans ONLY agenda is to cut Social security.

  4. I appreciate that these two can disagree on many things and still sit there and talk like adults. Thanks, guys. On the other hand: perhaps Ryan’s moderate characterisation of the current Republican party would sound more plausible if their version of “fiscal responsibility” ever included taxing the wealthy (and leaving the IRS intact to enforce it).

    1. seriously? you believe democrats are going to make their donors pay high taxes? you think the rich are just going to hand over that money or do you believe they will litigate it into infinity? they won’t be going after the wealthy because they will put up a fight; they will be going after the people who have to make a calculation whether to go in debt and hire a tax attorney or settle-that is the regular joe schmoes who have this fantasy that democrats actually give a schidt about them.

    2. @Lucius Blackwood The little guy gets screwed no matter what but it’s how they get screwed that prevents the middle class from flourishing. The Republicans are not the only people in power obviously. The Democrats have more than their fair share of pork belly money and speaking salaries. The Tammany Hall system that we study in history is the status quo for the Democratic Party they can get more by exploiting the poor folk.

    3. @Kat L That would be a fantastic comeback if I (or anyone here) had said we think Democrats get taxation right. But since I didn’t say it and I don’t think it, and since you illustrate so aptly the “But your side is just as bad!” reaction I have no use for myself, being unaffiliated with any party, I’ll keep trying to stay optimistic that, since some other countries do manage to find ways of taxing citizens and businesses in a way that doesn’t result in quite as grotesquely uneven a distribution of wealth and opportunities as the US has, if Americans can have more conversations where differing viewpoints are discussed without needless aggression and fewer that go the way this comment section has, one day we may together put in place better solutions to some of the public finance problems you so enthusiastically point out.

    4. @John Shafer yah sorry i only saw the complaints about pubs getting rid of the IRS which is really the point i was addressing-i know this because i heard schumer this very day say that getting rid of the agents would mean the wealthy would get away without paying their ‘fair share’. didn’t see any criticisms here making that point. i don’t like trad pubs and never have; both sides have ruined the country imo. ryan was a worthless republican who never did anything for the base that voted for him as is the case for all of the trads. yet…he is less odious than the democrats.

    1. @Gary Pepper Maybe. I started a business at a young age and hired people to work for me so that I didn’t have to work hard to become independently wealthy at a young age. Still, he sounded lazy and I guess I should know.

  5. Couldn’t help noticing Ryan didn’t mention closing the loopholes that allows the wealthiest not to pay their share of taxes. He knows who’s buttering his bread.

    1. He’s just as crooked as trump he was trying to get tax breaks for the rich but trump’s crooked azz made it easy because trump wanted to enrich himself and family.

  6. Ryan was hitting it out of the park — until I learned that he’s a Fox board member. It was impossible for me to reconcile his responses while imagining him sitting on a board chaired by Rupert Murdoch.

    1. The powers that be have finally decided to get rid of Biden. Why not report what is really happening he will be removed. Kamala was always the plan but that is clearly not a option. The push has started for who will be canidate in 2024. Who will it be?

    2. I’m going thru the comments and ….THAT is where your line is??? lol me too kinda, he was selling me some sweet sweet lies til then 🤣🤣🤣
Political theatre: Doesn’t want to put “gas on that fire?”ok maybe first fire Hannity and Tucker C and say that again smh. Brainwashing boomers out of their fixed income, of course he wants to protect social security, now that he’s out selling books!

  7. Jake, I understand that you want to make your guest feel comfortable. However, he knows that the Trump tax cut didn’t have any significant impact on the economy, besides increasing the debt. Yet, when Republicans (including Paul Ryan) talk about the debt crisis culprit, all they see is “entitlement”. We’re not millionaires or billionaires. Our contributions are being taken out of our paychecks. They should rollback the tax cut and close all those loopholes, then see whether we’ll not balance our budget.

    1. @Aunty Mammalia exactly! Trump just took credit for it. Republicans didn’t care because Trump was the biggest salesman. There are videos of him lying to his base that rich people like him would pay more.

    2. @Thomas Campbell EVERYTHING THE REPUBLICANS WANNA DO BESIDES WORTHLESS INVESTIGATIONS IS DEAD FOR THE NEXT 2 YEARS,PERIOD ✌️😁

    3. @ 10:04 Paul Ryan says he wants limited government but on the other hand they want authority. They have to have authority.
      It’s called the police state
and anybody not walking in line may not continue being in a living state.
The thing is he doesn’t even see what he’s trying to accomplish.
The final state of rule with limited government in his vision is authoritarian.

    4. Most have taken sides, and are fooled into thinking their side is not facist/corporate ruled with both sides feeding from the pork barrel. Fiscal responsibility?

  8. As a Democrat, I would LOVE to see government work within a budget. Its not unique to the GOP, but even the GOP balloons the debt when in power. They talk and talk about being fiscally conservative, but when the rubber hits the road, they spend just as bad if not MORE than Democrats.

    1. The last balanced Budget was under Clinton and the Congress was trying to impeach him, it can be done with bipartition effort from the center right and left.
The MAGA/Trump clowns have NO real solutions for the future, to dumb.

    2. Difference is. The Democrats increase spending to fund social programs. Republicans increase borrowing to cut taxes.

    3. The idea of getting past performance politics and into actually presenting solutions and focus on policy, well it’d be nice if this caught on lol. I can’t tell if it’s unlikely or inevitable for the GOP. It’s not the half I go for, but it’s still half of our govt. So I want that half to improve sometime soon.
Protecting social security and healthcare sounds good to me, but doesn’t seem like the GOP has wanted to do anything but cut those for the last decade or more. As if that solves the debt crisis 😒 We need a time machine for that, go to 1999 and sabotage Bush out of the primaries fr fr

  9. Ryan is right that there’s too much “entertainment” in politics these days. And too much “angertainment,” I might add.

    1. It’s not entertainment but Trump derangement syndrome. Democrats have spent all their times for witch hunt Trump from fabricated Russian Collusion, Ukraine gate whistleblower then impeachment 1 and 2 then January 6 until Biden used DOJ to have FBI to raid on Mar-A-Lago and declared special prosecutor for Trump. Biden accused Trump irresponsible for classified documents. Now God interferes by exposing Biden got illegally home the classified documents. We hope McCarthy won’t tear the brief paper as Nancy Pelosi tore the paper in Congress with uneducated manners.

  10. Once they make their millions, get influential positions in private sector, and retire from govt, they all suddenly grow a pair and integrity

  11. When he held power he cowered in Trump’s presence. I truly don’t need to even be reminded that Paul Ryan exists, let alone listen to a word that comes out of his mouth.

    1. No he did not. He couldn’t stand to look at Trump. He knew Trump was a first class CLOWN! That’s why he retired. He didn’t want to be a part of the clown show!

  12. The whole current political system is a freaking train wreck and quite frankly an embarrassment showing how low the nation has sunk. ☹️

  13. “We believe in medicare and social security and medicaid.” He’s obviously out of touch with the current GOP.
