  1. Srsly? The internet is full of photos and video clips like this. How did this rate covering on a network news show?

    1. they deserved it.
most people are incompetent drivers who cant catch a ball while jogging, let alone, control a flying death machine at 60 miles an hour.
      money over life.

  2. no I have to agree the car was wrong but I’m a firefighter and I could have easily connected and gone south with the hose as the video showed without busting a window. they just did it put of anger

  3. Be interesting to hear if the person parking there attempts to file a insurance claim to cover the window replacements. If they say it happened at a different location, could they get away with that or is there a proper memo added to the file of the vehicle owner that would procedurally be examined before making a decision on it? That should be checked if it isnt already.

  4. They could have ran hose across hood. Car owner might have parked illegally but that didn’t deserve criminally breaking his windows. A parking citation at most. That was pure ego at play. Had that been my car, I’d sue the fire dept and every fireman on sight. Also demand removal of qualified immunity so they personally had to pay.

    1. constable, the laws of Nova Scotia are quite clear about parking in front of a hydrant. The police will back the fire department.

  5. I warn people who park in fire lanes and such that in an emergency the firefighters can do what they have to.

  6. “What we have here is a communication problem”. Some people just have to learn the hard way. People today can break our immigration laws , enter the country illegal , and be put up in luxury hotels at taxpayers expense.

  7. Didn’t you think that “another circle around the block” every time for every car that parks for an hour or less beside the hydrant would cost significant increase in the carbon footprint? There are always two sides of the coin.
