Thanks Trudeau. Thanks.
“I gotta have milk in my coffee”??? Really, is this investigative journalism? This is nonsense: “woman shopper” opinion in the parking lot. The news editor who put this together is trying hard to panic shoppers into expecting a huge increase in dairy prices. Who’s making the profit? It’s the retailer, who marks up the dairy prices substantially higher. Cheese is more expensive, so the pizza will go up a dollar or two, (yeah, but the portion spent on cheese wouldn’t justify that increase). Where did production costs go up more than 10 percent???
Hmm🤔, could the carbon tax have something to do with this ? I mean, every time the milk trucks come to the farm to collect the milk in their tanks , that’s a lot of diesel fuel that those trucks run on and they’re not exempt from that planet saving tax……….
Lol, it’s local news not investigative journalism.
Hyperpandas so it’s not going to affect anyone locally ?? 😂😂, do you need to fuel your farm machinery to take care of these animals ???
@Milrlite No… it’s that local news channels don’t typically have the resources or mandate to do investigative journalism in any real way. Some do, and they sometimes do it really well. But this piece is more typical of local news channels, which basically run a stream of puff pieces.
Edit: Also, no, this isn’t caused by the carbon tax.
Why don’t we just print more milk?
“Borrow” at compounded interest from private chartered banks
HUH HU HUH HUHU !!!!! UR SMRT!!!!!
Dairy Cartel.
You will eat the bugs
I’ll just be eating my cereal with water then
LOL
Get a job slacker.
The price of Everything will spike,
bcuz the min wage got raised,
as per usual.
That’s some pretty old school thinking that has long since been demolished. Minimum wage creases don’t ipso facto lead to inflation. Like anything, it’s a pressure that’s dependent on other factors.
Ah yes
Minimum wage
A cost to buisinesses, somehow causes the printing of more money.
@TheAircool1 Ah Yes, a pinhead.
Prices will drop when heads roll – fight inflation with decapitation.
The video would have been much shorter if you just would have said “‘Liberal policies’.
everything by design !
I take it that Canadian cows are unionized hence milk is expensive in Canada
no its just government greed they have a monopoly here and there have been videos showing farmers dumping milk claiming they can’t sell it which is not true its just more taxes driving up the price
Let the beef producers suffer the extra expenses while we pander to the dairy producers…
Gotta love the milk marketing board 🙂 Go to America to get your dairy.
Please make it stop we are all going to be in poverty if this continues
Let’s Go brandon
😆 🤣 😂 You Voted for this Canada 🇨🇦, now stop complaining! 😆 🤣 😂
• Milk has already been going up in price more than once per year for the past 3-4 years. 😠
• Cheese has been getting smaller and smaller and more and more expensive for 5 years ($4 for 700g to $5 for 400g!) 😠
• 1:27 – Companies always use any excuse they can to raise prices, then keep them up forever. They NEVER go down! 😠
• 1:32 – Rule #1 of business: ALWAYS pass on costs to customers, Rule #2: NEVER reduce your profits. 😠
• 1:56 – That’s on you. Butter can often be replaced with other substitutes in many/most cases. 🤷
• 2:02 – Do you though, do you _”gotta”_ drink your milk? Or have you just been brainwashed by that marketing campaign by the dairy council? 🤨 TWO THIRDS of humans are lactose-intolerant. They _don’t_ drink their milk. ¬_¬
• 2:04 – I’m sure even with the price hike, it’s still cheaper to put milk in your coffee than powdered creamer. 😒
• 2:09 – And of course, imported milk is more expensive due to the importing, so you’ll have to pay more no matter what. 🤦
• 2:13 – The price hike starts in three months. Too bad it’s milk, so you can’t just stock up and hoard it now. 😕
