CTVNews.ca's Michael Stittle and Nanos Research's Nik Nanos take a look at where each federal opposition leader stands going into a potential election later in the year.
Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole will need to perform a balancing act between keeping his party united and gaining additional seats in Ontario.
While NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will need to take advantage of some of the goodwill he's earned from Canadians, but Nik thinks the NDP will have a tough hill to climb in Quebec.
Meanwhile Annamie Paul needs to put an end to the infighting which has consumed the Green Party over the past month.
Finally Nik explains why the Liberal numbers might be 'overpriced' and why a win in a snap election is no sure thing for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Vote for me, I have the better pretending, I’m an INFJ Introvert, I solve problems, I fixed it already naturally countries are easy Galactic scales takes more work. Been there and done it already.
Conservatives and Liberals are branches of the same party. The rich donate to both.
Are they really? How so
I’d like someone to explain exactly how the CPC and LPC are different. I don’t see any difference.
@Bruce Sanders I’d like some who says that to point out the similarities
We need to abolish the corrupt useless, expensive non-essential DeFacto Federal Gov’t.
Then what?
He will never be PM
@Bruce Sanders Who won’t?
Maybe O’toole should discover some principles and stick to them for once
@Jumbo Me Maxime hasn’t
@SDX lol anti vax moron max yea lol he doesn’t even count lol
@Jumbo Me I see someone has been watching too much TV news lately.
@Primmakin Sofis how so ? Because he’s anti vax ? Hmm
Principles? You are saying O’Toole needs principles? Who was it that sexually assaulted a woman and then blamed her? Who interfered with the judicial system? Who has been found of ethics violations numerous times (and is being investigated yet again)? And that is just a small sample. If you wanna talk someone with no principles (and no ethics) then look no further than trudeau.
There is only one party in Canada. It doesn’t matter who gets in, they all march to the orders of their bosses.
To find out who their bosses are, find out who you are not allowed to criticize.
Who would that be ?
@Jumbo Me another blind fool that seems to find ignorance blissful
@Jenna Franklyn another toon who has no answer just banter. Try again
The Liberals have mismanaged the pandemic from the start. You don’t reward failure.
You do these days. Failing upward is now the norm.
What we need to take the team from Haiti and send them to Trudeau’s house.
When talking about Western Canada, it’s funny how the Eastern Canadians don’t seem to realize that BC outside of the lower mainland and the island is a part of the Conservative heartland as well lol
PPC
lol Trudeau thanks you for your vote
The only way is forensic audits
All this based on a phone survey of 4000 Canadians
I have that lots of Canadians want to “beat” Trudeau.
The Conservatives actually had a higher share of total votes cast than did the Liberals in the last election.
Your daily reminder that an election would have been called back in October were it not for the NDP siding with the Liberals in the non-confidence vote.
