  1. When Trump is finally kicked to the curb by the GOP, I hope Kinzinger gets back into politics. We, as a democracy, need more like him in Washington.

    1. Donald j Trump made the GOP. Y’all dumocrats keep thinking Joe lying Biden is so great he is the reason why everyone pays more for gas more for groceries but I guess y’all just like throwing your money away

  2. Adam Kinzinger= The common thread between all parties.
He’s most definitely Presidential material; says a Democrat.

    1. let’s not get carried away with rhetoric. Kinzinger, while admirably condemning and opposing his party’s descent into fascism and authoritarianism, has to be held to account for the pro-capitalist anti-labor positions, pro-war and all around misanthropic politics of his RP. This man needs to self reflect on his willingness, up to a point, to aid and abet the criminal enterprise that is the RP. Definitely not presidential material. How low the bar has been set that a sane republican who doesn’t want to overthrow the constitutional order should excite Democrats.

  3. Intelligent, compassionate, experienced, military man. Despite being a Republican, I trust him. Kinzinger is the definition of a leader 🇺🇸

    1. @second one You seem to have forgotten to take your hormone blockers. You far left extremists shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near children

    2. @Mark you shouldn’t be anywhere near NORMAL PEOPLE YOU PUT A STAIN ON EVERYTHING COMMUNISTS BELONG IN RUSSIA YOU FORGOT TO TAKE YOUR HORMONES TOOK ROIDS INSTEAD

  4. Unfortunately, Kinzinger is a throwback to an earlier time where there were honorable people of integrity in the Republican Party. Now, not so much. I disagree with him on most contested political issues (bearing in mind that patriotic Americans actually concur on many, many things), but I respect him.

    1. Integrity and the Republican party in the same sentence? Not sure you can throw any of us that far back. You’re talking Eisenhower.

  5. what a stellar guy. He actually has me respecting politicians like him which I would have thought knowing myself would be impossible.

    1. This is truly how it used to be. That was commonplace. Most of us could disagree without hating. That started to deteriorate during the age of protests, the 1960s. We’ve been getting worse about it ever since. Florida man saw his opportunity and tapped it. We can begin to shut off his tap by responding to leadership like Kinzinger’s, and Cheney’s.

  6. “We are not subservient to the president in congress. We are a coequal branch.”

Say it a littler LOUDER for the egomaniacal politicians in the back.

    1. Life in America must suck so bad that an old treasonous criminal maga clown criminal acts make the news each day to keep America entertained…., come on America…..

    2. @Borvo I said the samething about Benghazi. I personally think Jan 6th is just as stupid. Keep in mind, I (and my fellow constituents) are responsible for firing Congresswoman Elaine Luria on the Jan 6th committee. I hope that’s not a problem with you, since you know…That’s my vote, and well…Democracy is in peril. There has to be an opposition in order for there to be a Democracy 🙂

Also, when I and majority of Americans wake up in the morning, we don’t go panicking and worrying January 6th. What we do worry about is the cost of ky gas, food, being able to obtain Baby Formula (supply is still low), paying the rent, etc. Sane Americans also think throwing money at Ukraine is stupid and had no benefits. In fact we are driving up the cost of energy because of the war in Ukraine. Just saying…

    3. Congress is the most powerful branch. It is the ultimate expression of the People’s Sovereignty, created in Article I. The executive branch (Article II) and the Federal judiciary (Article III) are subordinate, by design.
Congress is much more restricted by the division of powers with the states than the separation of powers with the two lesser branches. This tension between the center and the periphery is the essence of federalism, a governance concept which became obsolete in 1865.
Federalism is the source of the structural racism that civil libertarians have been struggling to articulate.

  7. As an conservative independent who cannot bring myself to support today’s Republican Party the Adam Kinzinger’s of the party will be missed 😢

    1. Repent. Believe in Jesus. John 3:16 KJV – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Luke 13:3 KJV – I tell you nay: but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV – Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

    2. @Rachel Kristine hahahahahahahahahahahahahah. You would do what’s right? What’s that? Voting for a corporate war monger tool?
The only difference between a democrat politician and a republican is at which the speed of their knees hit the floor first when their donors walk in the door, first and foremost.
Party and oligarchs over we the people always. Both parties are beholden to their oligarch donors FIRST. So, it really does not matter.

    3. @Rachel Kristine Joe is great? Yeah you are ignorant. Or watch too much msm. Joe is a war monger, neoliberal, narcissistic liar, finger rapist, racist, who has more blood on his hands than ANYONE. Why is that? His votes for war prove that. If you ever pull your head out and follow some REAL INDEPENDENT BIPARTISAN journalist they would tell you that Biden is horrible. So horrible he won’t give 37 million people healthcare that need it. He can do that by himself but he’s bought by big insurance companies.
      One party rule. Donor party.
      Turn off msm.

    1. I’m old enough to remember a young politician named John F Kennedy speak and he left an indelible impression on me and my politics. I see the same qualities in Adam Kinzinger . Bright, measured , intelligent and speaks from the heart without anger.

  8. Great to see someone (kinzinger), no matter the party, speak freely and express common sense views. Yes, they are his views, but he qualifies his responses.

    1. @Frank Benlin what would they call it. the party of record inflation and crime. sorry that one is already taken by the democrats

    2. @Jason M ok sorry maybe the great unifier, brandon, joek biden, maybe he can tell you that inflation is 0% and you can believe it and prices are way down

  9. Love hearing Adam kinzinger speak, clear tone and always right to the point. May God Bless you and your family and may the road lead you to happiness and peace.

    1. It truly saddens me that someone like Kinzinger has been thrown out of this “New GOP”. He should be heralded instead. I left the GOP, just like millions of others. It is a shrinking, and increasingly insane and self-marginalizing, group.

    2. @Ken Z How do the democrats get a brain dead worthless fool elected to the senate? First off you cheat on the vote count. Then the democrat government takes billions of dollars from the taxpayers, send billions of dollars to Ukraine, Ukraine sends billions of dollars to Sam Bankman Fried at FTX, then FTX sends millions of dollars to the democrats. Sam steals the difference but he was also smart enough to give money from those that would put him in prison. Hunter, being the smartest man Joe knows, must have come up with this brilliant plan and now the democrats still control the senate!!!

  10. “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power,”
I salute you Rep. Adam Kinzinger. A man with character and integrity. 🙏🏼🙌🏼🗽🇺🇸🦅

    1. @TheThirdMan sorry, I was responding to some Trump Troll a hole and tagged you by mistake, but I’m sure one of his friends can explain that to him. If he has any. again, apologies, and Happy holidays.

  11. Sadly, American voters regularly push aside the best and the brightest, and since the GOP has a serious shortage of talent in that category, losing people like Kinzinger is especially tragic for the GOP and America.

    1. You couldn’t be more right. Chuck Grassley’s opponent in the mid terms was Michael Franken. A navy admiral with 5 college degrees(Legislative affairs, business, executive education, physics, and engineering). Best candidate this state has ever seen and they blocked him to re elect an 89 yr old career politician whose 1955 UNI degree in political science is less advanced than a high school diploma in 1968.

Grassley will either die in office or will continue to be useless in office until he is 95. His failed leadership is responsible for high prescription drug costs, treatment costs, administrative fees, and the drug war. He continues to support privatized health care instead of Medicare for all and has neglected to recognize Iowa’s soil degradation through the use of agro chemical products on seed.

    2. That’s why GOP Republican Party only recruit those fools, uneducated, lawless, shameless, brainless, inexperienced and corrupt dudes into the government positions. The nightmare of America will continue unless something shock the country tragically!

  12. Why is it so hard to get more politicians like Adam Kinzinger. Honest, articulate, and puts country over party. Both Republicans and Democrats could learn a lot from people like him.

    1. Would yuj want to run for office? I could think of no greater waste of time then being in today’s joke of a congress. Life is too short.

    2. @tater hater  @tater hater  twtr is dying and ÿt is getting all their bots. now we gonna have the ¥T social media political influence accounts PLUS all the twitter SMPIAs

      it is gonna get worse

  13. This guy is the kind of republican that I can actually respect. Would be fine with him being president one day. And I’m a Democrat.

    1. While he definitely has honored his oath of office which is rare in a republican, the republican platform is still his agenda and as a Democrat, I can’t stomach it because it does not hold anything positive for the country or the people. He would be just fine with the dissolution of social security and medicare/medicaid as well as opposing all the great bills that President Biden has gotten passed. I would never consider voting for him or any republican as long as their platform only benefits the wealthy and their big corporate donors and promotes revoking benefits.

  14. It’s sad that you are leaving Mr. Kinzinger……I’m a democrat and I really like the work you and Liz did for the committee…….we are so thankful. You are one of the types of republicans who make it wonderful to be able to work across the aisle! You truly will be missed……….

    1. He’s not going anywhere. If he runs in ’24, I think he’ll get votes from a large part of those who occupy the just-off-center belief systems. And that would be most of us.

  15. If only all politicians had mr. Kinzingers bravery and integrity we would all be in a much better position regarding trust in the system !!!
