    1. You don’t need any new laws to pass. The second amendment covers these events. The cause of these shooting is the strict gun control. When California gun laws make it exceptionally annoying, time consuming and expensive to get a gun. Then you have a waiting period. You see gun free zone signs, that’s why this happened. The shooter wanted to kill people so he went to a place of least resistance because if he expected anyone else with a gun this wouldn’t have happened. Give your life to the government and they use you as pawns in situations like this to entrench you deeper into delusion while they get a tighter grip on power. Too bad California is full of gun control cucks, keep jumping off the cliff because everyone else did but don’t notice the outcome of death

    2. They only bring in new laws to corrupt the system George soros owns the voter counting machines that have been found to be corrupt and the democrats don’t want to change them biden has done nothing good for the country hunter biden is all over the internet with prostitutes smoking crack if it was trumps son cnn would be pumping it up. Try and listen to rean news

    3. Democrats approach… Ban guns, defund the police… so when something does happen, you’ll be defenseless. Ive said this a million times, guns dont kill ppl, ppl kill ppl. Change my mind…

    4. the Republican’s REFUSE to ban AR15 weapons of war, and refuse to conduct outbound border inspections from AZ, CA, TX and Nevada that allows drugs/gun cartels to ship massive loads of drugs/guns out of those states. They are enabling the drug/gun cartels because the Red border states are making billions off gun/drug sales! See the VICE documentary, How the US Enables the drug/gun cartels.

  1. “The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch and do nothing.”

    Albert Einstein

    1. @Bob Davis do you know what kind of mammoth Herculean effort that would take to coordinate all across the country the stealing of a presidential election? Are you really that stupid? Did you even listen to the Bannon audio recording? You are definitely in the party you belong in.

    2. @Trump is going to prison SMH boy you have no idea do ya. Pretty simple only a few cities have to be corrupted, that’s all it takes. Maybe you should go check the new findings Barr never looked fyi a few of those judges were on that little plane. Your country has already been taken over and your to dmb to realize it. You want the truth on how it happened get off censored media people will show you

  2. anyone in Chicago can get in the car and drive 45 mins to Indiana and buy any weapon they like. The Chicago situation is a non starter. Actually the Chicago situation JUSTIFIES a single FEDERAL law

    1. @Deborah Freedman what?? But that’s what you liberals are crying about now when it comes to people only having to drive to Indiana to purchase firearms and bring them back that’s why there so much crime right. So how can a federal law change that if it’s already illegal to do?🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️

    2. @DeJun B It’s a dog whistle to the base….ie.. Obama lived in Chicago. The 10 cities with the highest rates are dominated by red state cites with weak state laws. The states with stronger laws & also surrounded with states with similiar laws have relatively low rated ..ie…nyc. Also, for ny when they can track a gun from a homicide, Virginia is the #1 source, a weak gun law state.

    3. @user-mp4bs6xj5q nobody wants to let them go and you’re the one who wants them to have as many guns as they want to commit more crimes

    1. So typical. Here’s another one: “Well, let me just start by saying…” Whenever you hear that, you can damn well bet the question will not be answered.

    1. How about plotting the data in them states in gun sales with the same state MaGa Carnival Act and the data will show some sacrificial facts of 2nd Admenment or saporting a Lie….in we don’t admit defeat when there’s Death to Veteran Patriots….DJT why would anybody believe the Alection was stolen when the Trump Administration never won a thing by popular vote of Patriots……makes zero sence but fits perfectly in January 6 Planners…..

    2. @Nick Maximovich so gunnuts can gunnut that statement in regards to you really think the collective data in gun sales vs Data in same states ware MaGa Rallies were formed to do just what that your going to lose your America as you know it what’s really wrong with your statement let’s look at the data in sales vs Rallies in them states if your fears are true then it should show in gun sales correct……. just remember what happened in that little white Lie in I had this Alection Won what happened well for one thing everybody knew alot of states still had to count mail in ballots and with a pandemic both sides agreed on Alection rule changes just remember the little white LIE

    3. @dave mitchell And this is the answer to “why”.
It’s a simple test for sanity and seriousness of one’s opponent.
      Bye.

    4. He opposes monitoring people who buy guns and state that they want to kill people and instead proposea monitoring everyone else

  3. I’m sure he’d do something more about guns if someone in his family were gunned down. That seems to be the only thing that motivates these Republicans, when it happens to them.

  4. In the first minute of the video he established that he is a lawmaker who doesn’t believe in the efficacy of laws. . .

    1. @Thomas De Quincey Well us people who believe in the Constitution will never give up our Second amendment rights.

    2. @Thomas De Quincey the day the 2nd amendment gets destroyed from the constitution is the day Civil War 2 peeps it’s ugly head. We have 120 guns for every 100 person. You pray for confiscation and that’s the day it get real quite

    3. the Republican’s REFUSE to ban AR15 weapons of war, and refuse to conduct outbound border inspections from AZ, CA, TX and Nevada that allows drugs/gun cartels to ship massive loads of drugs/guns out of those states. They are enabling the drug/gun cartels because the Red border states are making billions off gun/drug sales!

    1. @1:34 if you make the US into Chicago gunlaws then the guns will come from Mexico and the other countries that also make firearms 🤡. You think Guns are only made in the holy US of A 🤡🤡🤡🤡

    2. @kelperdude You don’t know what communism is, or what anyone is teaching in schools…as you’ve never been to one.
      Communism,
“a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.”

      Acts 4:32-36
“Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common . . . There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold. They laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to any as had need.”.

Evangelicals gave trump the highest amount for their votes in history…being COMMUNISTS, by definition of their cult’s buy-bull.

    3. the Republican’s REFUSE to ban AR15 weapons of war, and refuse to conduct outbound border inspections from AZ, CA, TX and Nevada that allows drugs/gun cartels to ship massive loads of drugs/guns out of those states. They are enabling the drug/gun cartels because the Red border states are making billions off gun/drug sales!

  5. The guy appeals to his expertise (a logical fallacy, btw), then immediately invokes one of the dumbest analogies in the gun nuts’ arsenal… The murder rate in city “X.”

    1. @Andrew Simpson No less woefully ignorant is that response, son. That said, it is to your credit that you didn’t preference it by pretending to be an expert.

    2. @Douglas Reagan Either my response went over your head, or you deflected because you had no valid response and didn’t have the integrity to simply not respond.

    3. the Republican’s REFUSE to ban AR15 weapons of war, and refuse to conduct outbound border inspections from AZ, CA, TX and Nevada that allows drugs/gun cartels to ship massive loads of drugs/guns out of those states. They are enabling the drug/gun cartels because the Red border states are making billions off gun/drug sales!

  6. I just can’t take ANY of these SEDITIONIST seriously…

very sad they have ANY power when ALOT of them should be in prison for TREASON!!!

    1. @Biker Highmiler I’m an adult so I don’t get triggered and a damn sure ain’t “woke”
Thanks for proving my point about you being a bat$hit crazy liberal though, mate 🤣
I love how easy you fruitcakes are to spot

    2. @Biker Highmiler gun control will not stop mass killing…. Only better mental health, support for broken families, close communities… where people watch and support each other… will help

    1. @Bruce Campbell Anyone who conducts even a cursory review of the Amendment itself, as well as the context in which it was written would understand that this infamous sentence has been abused as justification by so many to obtain weapons designed with the express purpose of injuring or killing as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time.

As former military, I can’t think of a single reason why any civilian would ever *need* assault-style weapons.

To have a robust debate in good faith, explain to me your understanding of a “well regulated militia”, and why one would even be necessary in Colonial times. Then explain to me how that reasoning extrapolates to the current situation.

Explain to me the meaning of the worlds “security”, “State” and “people” in the context of the 2nd Amendment–again, in Colonial times. Then, again, extrapolate that to the present.

That anyone believes that the Bill of Rights includes the right for anyone to possess their weapon of choice has either not studied the text and history, has been brainwashed, or is deceiving themselves.

    2. @Kenneth C lol – I specifically cited the 2A – along with various other parts of the Constitution – and Duke University has a database of historical gun laws that go back long before – during – and after the Constitutional Convention – there have always been gun laws – despite your fantasies of CHILDREN with pirate ships armed to the gills –

seems you can’t actually refute anything I say with any specifics – and you certainly managed to “ignore the 2A and make claims just because you say so”

      1) – “shall not be infringed” cannot be literally true because an ‘absolute right’ constitutes an absurdity, since it would inevitably conflict with other supposed ‘absolute rights’; and because it absurdly implies that rights are free of responsibilities – in the same way “shall make no law” doesn’t mean we cant have laws against slander, inciting violence, or false panics, etc. etc. – other rights apply..

      2) While there is a NATURAL right to oppose tyranny, there is no LEGAL or CONSTITUTIONAL right to overthrow the government. In fact, our Laws AND Constitution explicitly and repeatedly prohibit insurrection and domestic violence – governments do not give people permission to shoot at them.

      3) – If we want to know what the Constitution means by a “well regulated militia” – then we need to look at where the Constitution talks about militias, and regulating them – (Article 1 Section 8 Clause 15-16) – The Congress shall have the power .. To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions; …To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress; (note the part about “suppressing insurrections”)

Congress establishes and controls the militia, and it’s rules and regulations. Congress gives the States the authority to form and run militias, and appoint officers, according to regulations established by Congress.

There is nothing remotely ‘regulated’ about a disjointed unconnected gaggle of local fanatics scattered everywhere, with too many chiefs and not enough Indians, playing army, and declaring ‘ my pronoun is militia’

    3. @SirImperialMike – You claim I am arguing incorrect facts – and your “evidence” is the claim that ‘regulated’ had a singular and different meaning in the 1700’s – and it just so happens to be the definition that suits YOUR purposes today – grow up – other than that ridiculous word parsing claim – (absurdly ridiculous) you don’t refute a single thing I say – INCLUDING CITING HOW THE CONSTITUTION DEFINES HOW AND BY WHO THE MILITIA IS TO BE REGULATED IN ARTICLE 1 SECTION 8

  7. The problem is that the social media posts that he is talking about might not be accessible when the post is marked as not being public without doing privacy violations. We are protected against unwarranted searches and seizures. If the people are stupid enough to mark them as public though, go right ahead. Else than that, the social media platforms would need to put something in the EULA (End Users License Agreement) and they can not be ordered to do that by the government.

  8. Using the same techniques we use to go after terrorists overseas is a pretty horrifying thing to say. As foreigners overseas the Constitution does not apply to them and 90% of the means we use to track and surveille them are probably unconstitutional and at least 10% are likely flat out illegal. He’s basically talking Soviet level overwatch on Americans.

    1. the Republican’s REFUSE to ban AR15 weapons of war, and refuse to conduct outbound border inspections from AZ, CA, TX and Nevada that allows drugs/gun cartels to ship massive loads of drugs/guns out of those states. They are enabling the drug/gun cartels because the Red border states are making billions off gun/drug sales!

  9. I’ve seen the movie, “Minority Report”…this is basically what he’s proposing to stop mass shootings. He could take a page from Germany and Switzerland and just make getting a gun harder.

  10. Practically speaking, it’s a lot easier to pass laws to reduce access to certain kind of weapons to people of a certain age than to build “algorithms” to catch potential future criminals before committing a crime. One is a clean and clear enforceable law, while the other has more holes than Swiss cheese.

  11. It drives me insane when they talk about Chicago and then gun laws….more reporters need to call them out like she did.

    2. Those republicant party 🤡’s are insane…never getting to the root of the problem! CNN is trash… and chris must be getting bribes from every right wing dark money organization!

    1. Things can be done that are effective, lets use the same security a Federal court house has or Prisons on every public school nation wide.

  12. When the second ammendment was written, guns held a single bullet, and took about thirty seconds to “reload.” I don’t know how many people you can kill with a single clip. I just find it sad that lawmakers won’t sit down.
