Why can’t news act with urgency everyday when people are starving and laying on the streets dyiing in larger numbers than the covid 19? This can hurt the wealthy that is why.
So far. Larger numbers so far. If the 3.4% mortality rate the CDC expects (and we can assume that’s a conservative estimate) we’re talking approximately 11 million americans.

Think about it. No tests= no cases= no deaths.
I understand your point and agree completely. 80-90% who are infected show no or mild symptoms so the chances of this infecting the 1% are quite good. To someone who thinks 11 million americans will die from this has to be mentally challenged. More people have died of gunshot wounds in a long weekend in Chicago than have died from this virus so far.
I think, we reached a moment in time where it should become legal to remove people who cross a certain threshold of lies, ignorance and stupidity because it is starting to get way too dangerous.
