I’m a nurse and I take my job very seriously, I provide respectful care to all of my patients, regardless of their condition, procedure, religion, sexual orientation, race, or citizenship status. My role isn’t to judge, my role is to provide the highest level of care and administer best treatment available; I keep people alive, and I stay with them as they die, if that’s their choice. I’ve had plenty of patients through the years that I’ve joked around with, but never about, they are literally the only reason I wake up each morning.

I saw news coverage pre-hurricane and the newscasters weren’t even mentioning the Bahamas but it was obvious it was going to be horrific there. It’s unimaginable what they endured for so many hours. It’s amazing anyone survived.
Well that made me happy to see them reunite!
That was SO staged.
This brings back memories of Katrina. It’s so hard to watch what these people are going through. They have videos from areas where people are still trapped in attics n on rooftops because it’s still flooding in some areas. The damage is much worse then Katrina but at least help is getting there fast

I cry watching, even the reporter cries. The little piece of sunshine is the couple reunited and the elderly man hanging on for his son, I felt that in my heart.
